All Recipe Scroll Locations in Slime RNG (Roblox)

Recipe Scrolls in Slime RNG unlock the crafting recipes you need to mix lower-tier slimes into rarer, higher-tier ones at the Crafting Machine. The scrolls are scattered across the game's main biomes, and most of them sit tucked behind props or terrain rather than out in the open. Here is exactly where to find each one.

📜
Quick answer: Recipe Scrolls are hidden in the Cave, Jungle, Mushroom Forest, Redwood Forest, Candyland, and Crystal Cavern. Each scroll is a glowing brown paper roll, and walking up to it triggers a "New recipe unlocked!" banner.

How Recipe Scrolls work

Each scroll permanently adds a new entry to the Crafting menu, where you combine specific lower-tier slimes (and sometimes items) to create a craftable slime such as Geode, Thorn, or Crafty. The Crafting Machine appears in nearly every biome once you have unlocked the Heaven area, and you can access the same recipe list from any machine.

You do not need to rebirth to pick up scrolls. However, most scrolls sit in zones gated by large coin costs (millions to billions), so rebirthing five to ten times makes reaching them realistic. Each scroll looks the same: a long brown paper roll with a faint white glow and an "E" prompt to claim it.

Cave

Teleport to the Cave and head to the central point of the biome. A large green vine drapes down near the middle of the cavern, and the scroll is wedged directly behind it. Walk around to the back side of the vine to trigger the prompt.

Jungle

From the Jungle teleporter, walk straight ahead. On the right, you will pass a row of three trees standing close together. Step behind that group of trees and onto the small raised mound; the scroll rests on top of it.

Mushroom Forest

Travel to the far end of the Mushroom Forest, near the boundary that leads into the Moon zone. The biggest red mushroom in that area hides the scroll directly underneath its cap, attached to the stem. Crouch under the cap and walk up to the stem to claim it.

Redwood Forest

After spawning into the Redwood Forest, run to the far side of the map facing the Meteor zone. A long wooden log lies on the right edge of the area. Walk around to the back of the log to find the scroll resting against it.

Candyland

This is the easiest pickup. As soon as you teleport in, look to the right at the entrance for a large Oreo biscuit prop. Right next to it is a chocolate bar; the scroll is tucked behind the chocolate bar and is visible the moment you walk around it.

Crystal Cavern

The Crystal Cavern scroll sits at the highest point of the zone. Head to the central rocky formation that rises into a peak, then start climbing from the right side, since the ledges on that face are the most forgiving. The scroll is waiting at the top.

Atlantis

An Atlantis Recipe Scroll has not been confirmed yet. Once it is added or located in a stable spot, it will fit the same pattern: a glowing scroll near a recognizable landmark inside the biome.

How to confirm a scroll was claimed

The moment you press E on a scroll, a banner reading "New recipe unlocked!" sweeps across the top of the screen with a confetti effect. Open the Crafting menu afterward, and the previously locked "???" slot will now show the new slime's name and ingredients, with a Select button to start the craft.

If the prompt does not appear when you walk up to a known location, you are likely standing on the wrong side of the prop. Each scroll has a single interaction angle, so circle the landmark slowly until the scroll icon and the E key indicator pop up.

Crafting after collecting scrolls

Open the Crafting Machine in any biome to see your unlocked recipes. There are seven craftable slimes in total at the moment, including Geode, Thorn, and Crafty. Each requires a specific combination of slimes you have already rolled, plus any listed materials. If you have everything in your inventory, hit Select on the recipe to consume the ingredients and create the new slime.

Recipes you have not yet picked up still appear as locked "???" entries, which is a useful way to count how many scrolls you have left to find on your current map rotation.
