The Polaris Institute has flagged a brand-new electric Aniimo roaming Idyll, and the Aniimo Discovery event is the way to track it down. The featured creature is Dazmand, a Nova Stage Lightning support that evolves from Pomegg. Catching one in the wild is only possible while this event is live, and the most valuable prize on the reward track is a guaranteed strong copy.
Quick answer: Reach Student II, complete the Ecological Investigation quests to raise the Research Center bonuses, then spend Searches near Rosetower Woods. Catching 20 Dazmand total grants the Perfect Dazmand Egg.
Event dates and unlock requirement
Aniimo Discovery is available from September 25 to October 8, 2026; the precise opening and closing hours differ by a few hours across server regions. Reach Student II before you can open the event menu. After unlocking it, locate Dazmand through the Search system rather than at a fixed wild spawn point.
Free Search attempts do not stack. Drop in regularly to spend them before each refill instead of saving everything for the final day.
How Searches work
You get 5 Searches per cycle. The first 3 cost nothing and refresh every three days; the remaining 2 require Vein Essence. Each Search uses one attempt to track the target across Idyll, and the marked zone may yield a Dazmand or a Pomegg.
Because free attempts are limited, spend them only after your bonuses are as high as you can push them. Clearing the free investigation quests first means every paid or refilled Search rolls with better encounter, Perfect, and Sparkling odds.
Research Center bonuses that boost your odds
Completing Ecological Investigation quests advances the Research Center meter, which unlocks three tiers of Search bonuses. These are the reason to grind quests before burning Searches, since they directly raise your chance of a high-quality catch.

At full progress, the event states the chance of encountering Dazmand during Searches rises by 50% and the chance of a Perfect Dazmand rises by 200%. Check the event screen between milestones, because a newly unlocked buff improves every Search that follows.
Ecological Investigation quests
The investigation splits into three tabs. Only the catch quests need Searches; the Trials and Companions tasks are cleared with a Dazmand already in your party, so you can farm them without spending attempts.

How to catch Dazmand efficiently
Perfect Dazmand Egg and event rewards
The event’s headline prizes are the Perfect Dazmand Egg, the Thunder Soul evolution material, and Tumblers. The egg is the reason to push the catch track all the way to the end rather than stopping after the first capture.
The completed catch progression awards the Perfect Dazmand Egg, with the 20-catch milestone as its final catch target. Hatching it gives you a Dazmand guaranteed to have Perfect potential. Potential is the only guaranteed trait: the hatch is not automatically Sparkling, Prismana, Elite-rated, or a particular personality. Consider it a strong Potential base, then assess the result normally.
Thunder Soul holds the spirit of a Dazmand elite and enables Dazmand’s branching evolution, which is separate from its standard Lv. 25 Pomegg evolution. Both the egg and the material stay useful even if you already own several Dazmand.
Where to hatch the egg
The egg cannot be hatched from the Events screen. Bring it to an Outpost Hatchinator or a Home Hatchinator and use the regular egg-hatching system. If all your hatch slots are occupied, free one before continuing; you do not need a Dazmand-specific incubator. The event provides the egg, and the Hatchinator hatches the creature—these are separate steps.
How to confirm your progress
Each Ecological Investigation tab shows a live counter, such as the catch total updating to 3/3 or 5/5, and a claim button appears once a milestone is met. The Research Center screen reflects unlocked tiers with their percentage boosts, and the event summary updates to state your current encounter and Perfect bonuses.
For the Elite objective, the Research Console at camp is the confirmation point. Submitting your report there verifies the rating of your catches and marks the Elite quest complete. When all catch milestones read as claimed and the Perfect Dazmand Egg is in your inventory, you have finished the reward route and can hatch it whenever a slot is free.
