Aniimo: How to Earn the Azure Echoes Bronze Collection Badge in Echoback Landing

The Azure Echoes Bronze Collection Badge is the first exploration reward tied to Echoback Landing, the coastal habitat on the far west side of Breezy Plains. You earn it by filling out enough of the area’s Aniimo log, and the whole process is mostly a catching run along one beach.

Quick answer: Reach 40% Aniimo Collection Progress in Echoback Landing by catching its regional Aniimo. The badge unlocks on its own, and you claim 30 Glimmer and 1 Tumbler from the on-screen prompt.

What the Azure Echoes Bronze badge requires

Only one condition matters for the Bronze tier: hit 40% Aniimo Collection Progress in Echoback Landing. Progress counts each unique Aniimo form you register in that habitat, so catching the common local species is enough to cross the line. You do not need to complete the full log or defeat any Alpha for this tier.

Echoback Landing sits in the Lv 36–40 band, and the collection panel tracks your percentage as you register each species. The 40% milestone also hands over Safaris ×500 and one Vein Essence, separate from the badge quest rewards.

Where to find Echoback Landing

Open the Breezy Plains map and head to the far western coast. Echoback Landing is the beach zone with the distinctive purple sand, marked with its own collection progress panel. Most of your targets spawn along the shoreline and in the grassy patches just inland from it.

Which Aniimo to catch in Echoback Landing

Registering the following species is enough to push past 40%. Susuta has two separate forms that both count, so the day and night versions each add to your total.

Weakening an Aniimo in battle before throwing raises your capture rate, and Aniipod Pro has the highest success chance for the tougher spawns.

How to catch each Aniimo

Start on the purple beach and throw an Aniipod at Susuta. Register its basic form during the day, then return at night to capture the separate nighttime form for a second entry.

Work the shoreline for Popota and register it with an Aniipod. It appears both day and night, so you can grab it on the same pass as Susuta.

Look for Chirpi along the beach near the whale bone structures and capture it. It spawns in both time periods, and catching one is enough to register the species.

Move to the grass near the palm clusters to find Budclaw, which hides in the foliage. Approach and capture it to add another entry to your log.

Engage Shrubclaw on the shoreline in combat first, since it fights back. Wear it down, then throw an Aniipod to secure the catch.

Follow the grassy paths that climb inland from the beach to reach Emberpup in the floral grass. Catching it usually pushes your total to the 40% threshold and triggers the badge.

Switch the in-game clock for night-only Aniimo

The Nighttime Susuta only appears during the night window (20:00–06:00), so you may need to change the time of day rather than wait. Open the pause menu, select the clock interface, and set it to nighttime to make the night form spawn. Switch it back to daytime to search for the daytime-friendly species.

While you explore, check the map panel to watch your percentage climb. Looting the treasure chests scattered around the shore, including the one on a small rock island offshore, is worthwhile for extra crafting materials and Credits even though it does not count toward the badge.

Claim the badge and confirm it unlocked

Once your collection hits 40%, the objective updates to Badge Obtained Azure Echoes (1/1) with a Claim Rewards button. Select it to collect 30 Glimmer and 1 Tumbler. To verify, open Character > Badges, where Azure Echoes now appears under the Breezy Plains badge constellation tree.

What the Azure Echoes badge does

Holding the Bronze badge is useful for the rest of your Echoback Landing run. It grants two perks while equipped, both scoped to this area:

Behavior Mastery raises your chance of catching Aniimo here by 10%.
This area grants access to Nurture.

That extra catch rate makes the higher badge tiers easier to chase. Pushing to 70% and defeating the Alpha Panpanta unlocks the Silver Azure Echoes badge, while 100% collection plus five Lumin Amber earns the Gold tier, so it is worth keeping the Bronze badge on as you keep filling out the log.
