Infergon is a Nova Stage, Fire-type DPS Aniimo that you cannot catch in the wild. The only way to own one is to evolve it up the Jawling line, and that path is gated behind a world boss, a strict quality requirement, and a specific crafting material. Miss any single condition and the evolution option simply won’t appear on your Aniimo.
Quick answer: Defeat Omega Infergon in Russet Highlands, get a Perfect-rated Jawling or Helmwhelp to level 48, then spend 1 Blaze Stone to evolve it into Infergon.
Infergon evolution requirements
Infergon branches off the Helmwhelp stage as a special Nova evolution, separate from the standard Helgon. Before the game lets you confirm the evolution, four conditions must all be true.
- Omega Infergon has been defeated at least once.
- The base Aniimo carries a Perfect potential rating.
- The Aniimo has reached level 48.
- You own at least 1 Blaze Stone.

Blaze Stone is the material needed to evolve fire-type Aniimo, and it drops from defeating Alpha Aniimo. Stock at least one before you start the evolution.

Add to Google Preferences →Evolution path: Jawling to Helmwhelp to Infergon
Infergon sits at the end of a two-stage chain. A standard Jawling first evolves into Helmwhelp at level 38, and Helmwhelp then evolves into Infergon once the requirements above are met. When you reach the Helmwhelp evolution menu, you must pick the Infergon branch rather than Helgon.

The Mountain Jawling and Mountain Helmwhelp variants cannot become Infergon. They only evolve into Mountain Helgon, so make sure you are working with a standard Jawling or Helmwhelp.
Helgon exists as the alternate branch for anyone not chasing Infergon. It unlocks by opening 30 chests in the world cumulatively and also requires level 48.
Defeat Omega Infergon in Russet Highlands
Unlocking the Infergon evolution starts with beating the Omega Infergon world boss. It sits at the heart of Russet Highlands, atop a volcanic hillside patrolled by Helmwhelps, and is recommended at around level 55. On the world map the encounter appears as the Lv.55 Infergon node.

Speak with Sorora, the Mysterious Painter, near the region’s western edge to begin the Warrior side quest in Russet Highlands, which leads to the boss. This quest links to the main story quest Ancient and Sacred Fragrance: taking the Flameheart Stone from the arena sends you directly into the fight.
Bring a team built around Water, Earth, or Dark Aniimo. Infergon is a Fire-type that specializes in Break, so it takes extra damage from Water and Dark and deals reduced damage to Water Aniimo. Break-focused party members help keep it stunned. The boss has a large health pool, and solo attempts can run 10 to 20 minutes or longer, so co-op speeds things up considerably.

Below half health, Omega Infergon becomes far more aggressive and can cast an Ultimate that spawns fire crystals around the arena. Break enough crystals to open a safe pocket, or stand where their eruption zones do not overlap, to survive the finish. Defeating it does not let you capture it; the win only unlocks the evolution.
Farm a Perfect Jawling
Only a Perfect-rated Aniimo can evolve into Infergon. Capture quality is fixed on catch and cannot be upgraded later, so the plan is to catch Jawlings in bulk and check each batch for a Perfect result.

You can raise your odds by cultivating the area through the Branch of Breezy Plains, which boosts specific Aniimo spawn rates. The boosted species is random, so you may need a few tries to land Jawling.
Evolve into Infergon

How to confirm it worked
The evolution is complete when the transformation animation plays and your Aniimo appears as Infergon at Nova Stage in your roster. Its AniLog entry (No. 67) fills in, and it gains the Fly pathfinding ability at level 3 for fast aerial travel.
Infergon’s abilities and role
Infergon is a Fire DPS built around stacking and consuming Fire Debuff. It is strong against Ice and Grass and weak to Water and Earth. Its trait, Power of Fire, adds bonus damage to any target carrying more than five Fire Debuff stacks, which shapes how you play it.

| Skill | Type | EP Cost | Power |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flaming Claws | Physical, Combo | 15 | 45 |
| Physical, Dash | 20 | 60 | |
| Lava Breath | Magic | 0 | 35 |
| Hot Breath (Ultimate) | Magic | 100 | 168 |
Flaming Claws is the main damage source. It can be recast within five seconds, and each strike consumes two Fire Debuff stacks for extra damage, so keep the target above four stacks to get the most from it.
Fiery Charge rushes the target and leaves a flame trail, diving down if used mid-flight. On hit it grants a shield equal to five percent of max HP for ten seconds.
Hot Breath is the Ultimate, an aerial flame breath that hits a large area in front and reapplies eight stacks of Fire Debuff. Use it whenever it is up, ideally while the enemy is broken, for the biggest hit and to refresh debuffs for Flaming Claws.
Away from combat, Infergon works in your Homeland at Afire level 3 for cooking, smelting, and supplying heat, and at Hauling level 3 for moving stockpiled produce to storage. That makes it useful even when it is not in your active party.
