Irisalis Petals are the gate between you and one of Aniimo’s Legendary catches. They are a currency item rather than a material you stumble into by accident, and the game hands them out through story progress, world exploration, and a spread of reward tracks tied to Season 1 content in Breezy Plains.

Quick answer: Earn Irisalis Petals from Main Story and Journey Quests, plus world pickups in Breezy Plains, then spend them on a Legendary Aniipod to make Irisalis’ encounter spawn.

Irisalis Petal type, rarity, and what it crafts

The petal sits in your currency tab, not your materials bag, and it carries Legendary rarity. That matters because it is spent at fixed costs rather than consumed in random crafting recipes.

The item’s own description frames the petals as energy shed by Irisalis itself, drifting across Breezy Plains. That is also a useful hint about where to look for them in the field: the region tied to Irisalis is where the physical pickups appear.

All Irisalis Petal sources

Petals arrive from several reward tracks at once, so the fastest route is to clear the ones you are already close to finishing before grinding anything repeatable.

First-clear rewards are one-time payouts, so an Alpha you have never beaten is worth more petals per run than anything you have already cleared.

Collecting Irisalis Petals in Breezy Plains

The hand-gathered petals are scattered pickups rather than boss drops, and they cluster around the flowering parts of Breezy Plains. The Journey Quest A Fragrant Journey: Berylline Vale, which asks you to track down a strange perfume ingredient, runs straight through the same ground and is a convenient excuse to sweep the area.

Open the world map and set a waypoint in Breezy Plains between Sea of Flowers and Blitzwood. Sea of Flowers sits at a level range of 19 to 28, so it is comfortable ground for most players who have reached Season 1 content.

Follow the rocky pass downhill toward Blitzwood and watch the ground for standalone purple plants. Petals are interactable props, so the prompt appears the moment you stand next to one.

Pushing deep into Blitzwood throws up the message that enemy level is far too high and victory is unlikely. Grab the pickups near the edge and leave the fights alone until your team catches up. Berylline Vale, further along, runs from level 40 to 47.

Press the interact button at each plant to bank Irisalis Petal x1. The pickup confirmation appears on screen, and the total in your currency tab ticks up immediately.

Once you know the look of the plants, the open flower fields are the efficient sweep. Fly or glide between clusters rather than following roads, since the pickups sit in the open rather than near landmarks or chests.

Spend petals on a Legendary Aniipod to spawn Irisalis

Irisalis cannot be found roaming the world and cannot be reached through evolution. It appears only in its Legendary encounter, and that encounter is unlocked by the crafting step the petals pay for.

Bank petals until you can afford Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis. The same currency also covers Legendary Aniipod: Departure with the Wind and stock in the Legendary Journey event shop, so decide what you want before spending.
Craft the Aniipod. A new Irisalis encounter then appears in the world for you to travel to.
Beat Irisalis in the encounter and capture it with the Legendary Aniipod. You know it worked when Irisalis registers in your Aniilog as No. S1F, filed under Season 1 Keepsakes.

What the petals buy you: Irisalis stats and trait

Irisalis is a Nova-stage Grass DPS with element level 4, weighing 6kg and standing 1.5m tall. It has no alternate forms and no evolution line to climb.

Its kit leans on clones. Irisalis Shadow summons an Iris Clone that lasts 30 seconds and fires a Floral Gleam Beam, Whirling Blossom Rain sets every active clone firing, and the Florae Descent ultimate leaves behind another clone that coexists with the first. The Bloom Cluster trait converts clone hits into Dance Power, and at 9 Dance Power the next skill costs half the EP. Bloom Cluster also revives Irisalis once every 180 seconds when it faints.

Since petals accumulate across story beats, quests, badges, and field pickups rather than from a single repeatable grind, the practical plan is to keep clearing Journey Quests while sweeping the flower fields whenever you pass through Breezy Plains. The currency total is the only thing standing between you and the encounter.
