The Shining Sherro Egg is one of the few items in Aniimo that removes all the luck from raising a creature. It is a Legendary-quality egg, it only ever produces a Sherro, and the Aniimo inside is guaranteed to come out with Perfect potential. That combination makes it worth spending carefully rather than cracking open the moment it lands in your bag.

Quick answer: Redeem the egg from the Custom Egg Box – DPS, then place it in the Outpost Hatchinator or the Home Hatchinator and wait out the 5-hour hatch timer.

Where to get Shining Sherro Eggs in Aniimo

There is one route to the egg, and it is a redemption rather than a drop. The Custom Egg Box – DPS lets you pick a specific Legendary egg from its list, and the Shining Sherro Egg is one of the options. Choose it there and the egg goes straight into your inventory.

Nothing in the open world drops it. You cannot farm it from wild encounters, chests, or ordinary hatching, and there is no repeatable grind that produces one, so every copy you own comes from a Custom Egg Box – DPS choice you made.

The Custom Egg Box – DPS also offers other Legendary shining eggs, including Panpanta, Cornet, Turbo, Magmarex, Thornblade, and Grizbo. Pick the one you want before you open the box, because the redemption locks in a single egg.

The item text is short and unusually literal: “Brimming with vibrant life, this Egg nurtures an exceptionally gifted Aniimo. Guaranteed to hatch an Aniimo with Perfect potential.” The guarantee is the whole point of the item, and it applies every time.

How to hatch a Shining Sherro Egg

Open your inventory and find the Shining Sherro Egg under the egg category. It stacks, so multiple copies sit in a single slot.
Take it to either the Outpost Hatchinator or the Home Hatchinator. Both accept the egg, and neither is better than the other for hatch results — use whichever one you reach first.
Load the egg into the Hatchinator to start the 5-hour timer. You can walk away and keep playing while it runs.
Pat the egg to keep the process moving. It takes 2 pats per day in total, but each player can only give it 1 per day, so a second player has to supply the other one.
If you want the Sherro sooner, use the single speed-up the egg allows. Only one speed-up can be applied per egg, so save it for when you genuinely need the creature.

When the timer ends, collect the Aniimo from the Hatchinator. The hatch will always be a Sherro with Perfect potential, so there is no reason to rehatch or reroll for a better result.

What Sherro does once it hatches

Sherro is No. 55A in the Aniilog, a Nova stage Water Aniimo filling the DPS role. It is the final form of the Shelly line, and its whole kit is built around water terrain: standing in water or absorbing it feeds directly into its damage.

Flowing Water Slash fires three slashes in a row, and landing all three adds a fourth, heavier hit. Near water it absorbs the terrain and converts the slashes into water blades for an extra 30% Might in damage.

Rolling Torrent burns stamina to roll forward and ram targets, giving stamina back over time at most once every three seconds. It leaves a puddle where the roll ends, which matters because Torrent Slam keys off nearby puddles for 30% bonus damage and a 15% damage buff lasting 20 seconds.

Thunder Slam and Prismana Slam both throw a shell. Near water, Thunder Slam widens its hit area and deals 70% extra damage, while Prismana Slam expands its range, adds 45% Might in damage, and grants Super Armor for five seconds. Sherro’s trait, Tidal Heart, adds 20% Water damage for 10 seconds whenever it is standing in water terrain or has absorbed water.

Its innate skills are Torrent Blade, a wide slash that gains range and 30% Might in damage near water plus a six-second basic attack range boost, and a standard close-range Water attack. Sherro has no mobility skill.

The alternative: evolving Shelly into Sherro

Sherro cannot be caught anywhere in Idyll, which is a large part of why the egg is valuable. The only other way to own one is to raise the line yourself, and that path takes considerably longer than a five-hour hatch.

Shelly

  • Level a Shelly to Lv. 29 to evolve it into Sheldon.
  • Defeat the Omega Sherro to unlock the final evolution.
  • Take Sheldon to Lv. 39, then pay Wave Stone x3 to evolve it into Sherro.

That route also leaves potential up to chance, whereas the egg locks it in. If you already have a Sherro from evolution, the egg is still worth redeeming for a Perfect-potential replacement.

Two other Sherro forms exist beyond the standard one — Thunderstorm Sherro (No. 55B) and Prismana Sherro (No. 55C) — and the Shining Sherro Egg does not produce either of them. What comes out of the Hatchinator is the base Sherro, with the potential rating already maxed.
