Aniimo: How to Get Turbo (Nimbi Evolution Requirements)

Turbo evolves from a Lv. 21 Nimbi once you beat an Alpha Turbo, and wild ones roam Nimbus Fields.

Turbo evolves from a Lv. 21 Nimbi once you beat an Alpha Turbo, and wild ones roam Nimbus Fields.

Turbo is the Nova stage payoff for anyone who picked up a Nimbi early in Idyll. It is a Wind Support that buffs the whole team’s damage and BREAK efficiency, and there are two separate ways to get one into your roster: raise the one you already have, or go catch a fully grown one in the wild.

Quick answer: Defeat an Alpha Turbo to unlock the evolution, then evolve a Lv. 21 Nimbi using Gust Stone x3. Wild Turbo also roam Nimbus Fields and can be caught directly.

Where Turbo spawns in Aniimo: Nimbus Fields

The fastest route to a Turbo skips evolution entirely. Turbo’s habitat is Nimbus Fields, the same region its Lumin stage Nimbi calls home, and adult Turbo appear there as normal field spawns. They are large, fluffy rams with heavy horns, and they drift through cloud cover rather than sticking to the ground, so scan upward as well as across the meadow.

Mount up and sweep the open grass toward your waypoint rather than hugging the edges. Because Turbo floats, a herd can sit slightly above your sightline and vanish behind a cloud bank as you ride past.

Unlock the Turbo evolution by defeating an Alpha Turbo

Level alone will not turn a Nimbi into a Turbo. The evolution path stays locked in your Aniilog until you defeat an Alpha Turbo, the stronger elite version of the creature. Until that fight is done, the evolve option simply is not offered, no matter how high your Nimbi’s level climbs.

Bring something that does not feed the Wind matchup. Wind takes extra damage from Light and Lightning on defense, so an Alpha with a Wind kit is an awkward fight for another Wind partner.

Evolve Nimbi into Turbo at Lv. 21 (Gust Stone x3)

Get a Nimbi to Lv. 21. That is the hard floor for the Lumin to Nova jump, and the game will not let you spend materials below it.
Gust Stone

Stock Gust Stone x3. This is the Wind evolution material, and it is the same item type other Wind lines consume when they advance, so avoid burning your stock on a creature you do not plan to use.
Open the Nimbi’s entry, choose the evolution, and confirm. With the Alpha cleared, the level met, and the stones in hand, the Nimbi becomes a Nova stage Turbo and keeps the form it was in.

Prismana Turbo is the exception to all of this. It cannot be produced by evolving anything and has to be caught in the wild.

How to confirm you have Turbo

Check the Aniilog. A registered Turbo fills the No. 18A slot, listed as a Nova stage Wind Support, sitting between the Nimbi entries and Rainstorm Turbo. Its field kit is the giveaway too: the mobility skill reads Cloudwalk, and the creature floats instead of sprinting when you send it out.

Attack and physical defense carry the spread, while Break is the weak point, which fits a creature that is meant to boost your BREAK numbers rather than post them itself. On the homeland side it brings Leisure and Wind abilities, and its pathfinding is flight based, which makes it useful for reaching ledges that ground partners cannot.

Type-wise, Wind hits hard into Dark and Grass and struggles into Lightning and other Wind. Defensively it resists Ice, Dark, and Wind, and takes more from Light and Lightning.

Turbo skills and the Shrouded in Mist trait

Everything Turbo does keys off one trait. Shrouded in Mist gains a stack each time Turbo sits off the field for 5 seconds or lands a basic attack, and at 4 stacks it enters the state. The next skill you cast eats the state and comes out stronger, so the rotation is: build stacks, then spend them on the buff you actually want.

Nimbi Burst is the reason to run Turbo at all. It slams the ground for AoE damage and raises team damage and BREAK efficiency by 15% for 20 seconds, and spending Shrouded in Mist pushes that boost to 30% and extends it to nearby allies. Nebula Burst does the same job for Dark damage, which makes it the pick when your carry is a Dark attacker.

Cloud Shield absorbs damage up to 15% of max HP and cuts stamina use by 15% for 20 seconds, rising to 19% absorption while Shrouded in Mist. Thunder Bolt is the control option, exploding on hit for 120% Might and applying Paralysis when the state is spent. Collectible Drop is free and innate: Turbo sneezes out 7 collectibles, and picking one up restores HP. Cloud Orb rounds out the kit as a straight cloud missile that detonates harder out of the mist state.

Cloudmist Turbo18CNimbus Fields

Prismana Turbo is the one worth planning around. It spawns on the turf near the Bloom in Nimbus Fields during a Prismana Flow event, only one can exist at a time, and it does not respawn once it is gone. It is a Wind/Dark Support with the same 518 base total and slightly stronger homeland abilities, and since evolution is off the table, a missed Prismana Flow means waiting for the next one.

Collecting the variants is not purely cosmetic either, since filling out an Aniimo’s form set awards a small stat bonus on the Aniilog entry. If you are only after one Turbo to slot into a team, though, the Lv. 21 Nimbi route is the cheapest path, and the Alpha fight you clear to unlock it is a one-time cost.
