Wisptis (Highland Form) is the Fire/Dark version of the species, and it does not share a habitat with the basic or Forest variants. It sits in the Breezy Plains region, it only comes out after dark, and it sleeps through the day, so daytime sweeps of the same ground turn up nothing.
Quick answer: Travel to Zephyrus Landbridge in Breezy Plains at night and follow the ridge on the western side of the area. Highland Form Wisptis also spawns at night in Blitzwood.

Highland Form Wisptis habitats and level ranges
Two habitats carry this form, both inside Breezy Plains. Zephyrus Landbridge has the denser population and the higher-level encounters, which matters if you plan to evolve the one you catch.
| Habitat | Level range | Spawn points | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lv 47–57 | 35 | Night | |
| Lv 40–45 | 27 | Night |
Evolution is locked to Zephyrus Landbridge for this form, so catching your Wisptis in Blitzwood means a trip back across the map later.

Wisptis has the Cloak mobility skill and can vanish mid-fight, so keep the camera on the last place you saw it rather than chasing the name tag.
Catching it and the chest on the cliff edge
Wild Highland Wisptis have a base catch chance of 44%, and that improves when you break the target or land a backstab, each of which applies a 1.5x multiplier. A Sparkling version rolls at 1 in 20,000 before any bonuses, so treat it as a lucky extra rather than something to farm for on purpose.
There is a treasure chest sitting on the cliff edge next to the ridge, worth grabbing on the same trip. It contains:
- Sparkling Crystal x5
- AniPod Pro x5
- Common Held Item Box x2
- Credits x7,500

Highland Form Wisptis stats, skills and trait
This is a Lumin stage DPS Aniimo carrying both Fire and Dark elements, which is what separates it from the pure Dark basic form and the Dark/Grass Forest form. It is small, at 0.8m and 4kg, and it flies.
| Stat | Value | Stat | Value |
|---|---|---|---|
| 77 | Attack | 112 | |
| Defense | 60 | Magic Attack | 112 |
| 54 | EP Regen | 77 | |
| BP Attack | 43 | Element level | 1 |
Its trait is Battle Fervor, which grants a stack of Battlelust on defeating a target for a 25% damage increase over 20 seconds, stacking twice. The main combat skill is Scythe Dance, a spin attack that hits everything nearby four times for Dark damage at 20 EP, with each hit raising its own damage by 4% up to 32% for 10 seconds. Dark Dash is the closer, boosting basic attack damage by 40% for 10 seconds after it lands. Out of combat it has Cloak for mobility and Fly Lv.1 for pathfinding.
How to evolve Highland Form Wisptis into Ignitis
Highland Form Wisptis evolves into Ignitis, and the requirements are stricter than a normal level gate. Everything below has to be true at once:

- The Wisptis is at Aniimo level 29 or higher.
- You defeat 3 Wisptis of the same form as your own, one after another.
- You are in Zephyrus Landbridge when you do it.
- You have Night Stone x1 to pay the evolution cost.
Because the targets have to be the same form, the night-only spawn rule applies to the evolution as well. The three kills need to be consecutive, so clearing other creatures in between is what usually breaks the chain.
How to confirm you caught the right form
Check the Aniilog entry after the catch. The correct creature is listed as Wisptis under Highland Form, with both Fire and Dark element icons and the DPS role, and its entry text reads that it polishes its claws until they are red-hot. If the entry shows Dark only, you picked up the basic form; Dark and Grass means you caught the Forest form instead.
Registering the form for the first time pays out Growth Bud x3, and reporting the creature is worth 100 Credits. Filling in all three Wisptis forms also closes out that species collection, which is the other reason to make the night trip while you are in Breezy Plains.
