Winning fights in Aniimo depends far more on role coverage than on raw power. A squad works when each member fills a clear job, and the game leans on five of them: break, DPS, support, heal, and regen. Most encounters ask you to cover four of the five at once so you can stagger an enemy, buff your damage, and stay alive long enough to finish the job.
Quick answer: Run Helion/Lunara, Glacy, and Turbo with a flex slot early; move to Fenmane, Blazen, Luminelle, and Besauce mid-game; then finish with Sherro, Panpanta, Piopiota, and Prismana Glacy at endgame.

How Aniimo team roles work
Before picking creatures, match your slots to jobs. A team that reads as “boring” on paper usually performs best, because it covers every function a fight demands.
- Break shatters an enemy’s bar and opens a damage window.
- DPS is your main damage during that window.
- Support adds buffs, marks, and resistance shred.
- Heal restores health when the team takes hits.
- Regen tops up health and energy over time.

Helion/Lunara, Glacy, Turbo, and a flex slot
This is the easiest squad to assemble as you start out, and it handles quests, challenges, and captures without much fuss. The final slot is open, so drop in whichever creature suits the puzzle or fight in front of you.
| Aniimo | Role | How to get |
|---|---|---|
| Helion/Lunara | DPS | Your starter; Helion for melee, Lunara for ranged |
| Glacy | Heal | Skippy (Lv.12) → Pranky (Lv.20) → Glacy with 3x Wave Stones |
| Turbo | Support | Nimbi (Lv.21) with 3x Gust Stones |
| Flex | Any | Chosen for the quest or puzzle at hand |
Open with Turbo’s Nimbi Burst to apply a damage buff, then swap to Helion or Lunara to attack. Bring Glacy in whenever your allies start losing health. Helion and Lunara offer the same value, so pick the range you prefer.
Rookey, Fragrancier, Stellarys, and Witchin (Dark burst)
An all-Dark lineup that leans on marks and a Dark damage boost for high burst. It trades the healer of the first team for constant curse pressure and energy regen.
| Aniimo | Role | How to get |
|---|---|---|
| Rookey | Break | Evolve Helmut with 3x Night Stones; learn “Immovable Bastion” |
| Fragrancier | Support | Evolve Dewy |
| Stellarys | DPS | Evolve Celestis |
| Witchin | Regen | Evolve Hummin with 3x Night Stones |
Lead with Rookey to break and stagger the target. Follow with Fragrancier’s Fragrance Marking, then Fragrance Bomb to raise the whole party’s Dark damage, and switch to Stellarys to attack. Throughout the fight, Witchin’s Prank passive curses enemies every 18 seconds for 10 seconds, and Stellarys pulls energy regen from a cursed enemy by landing basic hits.

Best mid-game Aniimo team
Fenmane, Blazen, Luminelle, and Besauce (Lightning)
Once tougher fights start appearing, this Lightning core covers break, buffs, damage, and energy regen in one package.
| Aniimo | Role | How to get |
|---|---|---|
| Fenmane | DPS | Evolve Fentuft with 3x Roar Stones |
| Blazen | Break | Evolve Bolty with 3x Roar Stones |
| Luminelle | Support | Bulbly → Veilfloat → Luminelle with 3x Roar Stones |
| Besauce | Regen | Not obtainable from the open world |
Break enemies with Blazen’s Lightning Cross and Electrical Impact, then switch to Luminelle to trigger the Arc Surge passive, and deal your damage through Fenmane. Keep Besauce’s regen skill, Charged Geyser, running at all times, and follow it with Electric Dance Frenzy to cut the target’s Lightning resistance by 17%.

Best endgame Aniimo teams
Sherro, Panpanta, Piopiota, and Prismana Glacy (Water balance)
This Water squad balances offense and defense for late-game content. Note that the Popota you evolve determines whether it becomes Panpanta or Piopiota, so build two.
| Aniimo | Role | How to get |
|---|---|---|
| Sherro | DPS | Shelly → Sheldon → Sherro with 3x Wave Stones |
| Panpanta | Break | Susuta → Popota (Instinctive, Judicious) → Panpanta, 3x Wave Stones |
| Piopiota | Support | Susuta → Popota (Energetic, Playful) → Piopiota, 3x Wave Stones |
| Glacy (Prismana) | Heal | Open world: Sea of Flowers and Driftwood Meadows |
Use Panpanta and Piopiota to lay down water puddles, which boost Sherro’s Water damage through its passive. After Panpanta breaks the enemy’s shield, fire Glacy’s Glimmer Shot to buff damage, then let Sherro deliver the main bursts.
Fulmintis, Blazen, Luminelle, and Turbo (Lightning burst)
A high-burst Lightning team built to shut down enemies before they can hit back. The trade-off is the lack of a dedicated healer, so speed matters here.
| Aniimo | Role | How to get |
|---|---|---|
| Fulmintis | DPS | Obtain and evolve Wisptis |
| Blazen | Break | Obtain and evolve Bolty |
| Luminelle | Support | Bulbly → Veilfloat → Luminelle with 3x Roar Stones |
| Turbo | Support | Nimbi (Lv.21) with 3x Gust Stones |
Start by breaking with Blazen, swap to Luminelle for the Arc Surge buff, and add Turbo’s Nimbi Burst for extra damage. Finish by switching to Fulmintis to delete enemies during the window.

Without a healer in this Lightning squad, treat the break window as your safety net. If you cannot end a fight before your buffs expire, the balanced Water team is the safer endgame pick.
