Warrior is a Journey side quest in Aniimo that opens in the Dead Forest of Beast Fang Ridge and stretches across several real-life days before it ends at a mountain summit in the Russet Highlands. It is worth starting early because the long waits gate real progression, including the Inferlupa evolution.

Quick answer: Track Clue: the Inferlupa’s Flying Head in Beast Fang Ridge at night, twine with an Emberpup to talk, defeat the Inferlupa, then return to the Emberpup pack across three real-life days before the quest moves to the Russet Highlands.

How to unlock Warrior in Beast Fang Ridge

Warrior begins as you explore Beast Fang Ridge, a Breezy Plains region tuned for levels 30 to 35. Wandering the area gives you Clue: the Inferlupa’s Flying Head. Set that clue as your tracked objective and it points you toward a pack of Emberpup gathered around a campfire.

The full quest cannot be rushed. Several steps only advance after a daily server reset, so expect Warrior to take about three real-life days from start to finish.

Beast Fang Ridge walkthrough

Go to Beast Fang Ridge and follow the tracked clue to the Emberpup campfire. Switch the time to night, then twine with an Emberpup or another member of the Emberpup family to speak with them. They mention a flying head seen in the woods after dark.
Follow the objective marker until you reach an Inferlupa. Speak with it and select the fight option. Once you win, talk to the Inferlupa again, then twine with Scorchowl.
Talk to the nearby Scared Emberpup, then find the Fragrant Emberpup tucked behind a rock close by. Speaking to it triggers a call from Dr. Lewis, who hands you the separate Fists I quest.

Return to the Emberpup pack. The quest now waits for the next real-life day. While you wait, you can follow the optional eavesdropper marker to a Spirit Dust: Inferlupa, then track down the eavesdropper, who turns out to be the Inferlupa you fought earlier.
After the day rolls over, talk to the Emberpups again to hear the tale of the Undefeated Warrior. The story pauses for another real-life day. The optional eavesdropper thread repeats here, this time yielding a Spirit Dust: Restrained Inferlupa.
Wait for the next real-life day one more time, then return to the Emberpups to continue the Undefeated Warrior story. This closes the Beast Fang Ridge chapter and points you toward a painter in trouble.

Russet Highlands walkthrough and the Sword of Bravery

The second half moves to the Russet Highlands, a higher-level stretch of the Breezy Plains. Your goal is to restore a painting, revive an old legend, and gather a Flame Flower at the summit.

Locate Sorora, the painter, standing beside a blurry canvas on an easel. Talk to her to take on the painting problem.

In Journey, open the Log and track the Warrior quest. Its objective is to locate clues across the Russet Highlands so the painting can be restored; the map marker indicates your next destination.

Follow the markers to a Weeping Helmut, then to a Hiding Helmut crouched in a rocky crevice. Talking to them advances the story and sends you up the mountain path.

Climb the stone stairways to the summit ruins. Check on the exhausted Helmut, inspect the marks on the ground, and examine the large stone Dragonclaw carving.

Open the Aniimo storage menu and add a Helmut to Battle Party 1. You need it twined in to break the stone in the next step.

Twine with the Helmut and attack the Dragonclaw Stone until it shatters. Breaking it reveals the Sword of Bravery and its interaction prompt.

Interact with the Sword of Bravery and choose the dialog option to pull it. Drawing the sword evolves the Helmut you are twined with into Pawney.
A Level 50 Infergon spawns on the summit platform. Defeat it with your team to revive the Pawney’s legend.

Glimmer30
Credits30,000
Sparkling Crystal30
Blaze Stone3
Ferocious Fang1
Sword of Bravery1

Beyond the listed items, Warrior is the quest that unlocks the Inferlupa evolution for Flameruff, and the Sword of Bravery is the only way to evolve a Helmut into Pawney, since Pawney cannot be caught in the wild.

How to confirm Warrior is complete

Warrior clears from your active Journey log the moment you finish talking to Sorora, and the reward screen delivers the Safaris, Glimmer, Credits, Sparkling Crystal, Blaze Stone, Ferocious Fang and Sword of Bravery. Once the Sword of Bravery is in your inventory, the Pawney evolution becomes available, and the Inferlupa evolution for Flameruff opens up. If the quest still shows a wait prompt, a daily reset has not passed yet, so return the next real-life day and speak to the Emberpups again to continue.
