Blitzwood holds the most Runaway Amber, with four of its eight marked spots sitting there across levels 39-41. Runaway Amber is a map landmark, and the remaining four sit further afield: one in The Argent Strait at levels 29-31, one in The Mistwoods at levels 12-14, one in Nimbus Fields at levels 6-9, and one in the Forest of Falling Stars at levels 21-22. That spread means you can pick up the earlier ones long before the tougher Blitzwood cluster.
Areas with Runaway Amber
| Area | Level | On the map |
|---|---|---|
| Blitzwood | Lv. 39–41 | 4 |
| The Argent Strait | Lv. 29–31 | 1 |
| The Mistwoods | Lv. 12–14 | 1 |
| Nimbus Fields | Lv. 6–9 | 1 |
| Forest of Falling Stars | Lv. 21–22 | 1 |
Most of these spots aren't lone stops. An Aniipod sits within sight of nearly all of them, a Chest is visible at three in four, and a Lumin Amber turns up at about half, so each pin tends to reward more than a single errand. For the four in Blitzwood, drop in at Bloom and cover the last 65 m on foot. The Argent Strait spot is a longer 215 m from Bloom, while The Mistwoods runs to 185 m. Runaway Amber itself is a landmark worth ticking off the map as you clear the rest.
