Anime Apocalypse Cosmetics Guide: Stats and How to Get Each

Cosmetics in Anime Apocalypse are equippable items that add flat and percentage bonuses to damage, health, walkspeed, coins, EXP, drop chance, and cooldown reduction. You can wear up to three at the same time, so stacking the right combination has a much larger effect on your build than any single piece. Some are crafted at the Starrk NPC in the lobby, while the strongest options come from raid shops or the Titan Defense escort shop.

Quick answer: Craft cosmetics at the Starrk crafting NPC in the main lobby, buy raid cosmetics from their matching raid shop, and buy Titan Defense pieces from the Escort Shop. Equip up to three at once from the Cosmetics tab in your Items menu (press R on PC).

All craftable cosmetics and stats

Craftable cosmetics scale roughly with the rarity of their materials. Early pieces use Cloth, Leaf, and Screws from any map, while the higher tiers require Shibuya-only drops like Inverted Spear and Cursed Finger.

Raid shop and Titan Defense cosmetics

Raid and Escort Shop cosmetics are not crafted. You earn the matching currency by completing the relevant raid or by playing the Titan Defense game mode, then spend it directly in the shop. These pieces tend to give stronger drop-chance and coin bonuses than the equivalent craftables.

How to craft cosmetics

Step 1: Travel to the Crafting NPC, Starrk, located in the main lobby. Walking up to him opens the crafting menu without any additional unlock requirement.

Step 2: Select the cosmetic you want from the list. The menu shows the exact materials and coin cost required, and any missing items will be highlighted.

Step 3: Press Craft. The cosmetic is added to your inventory immediately and is then ready to equip from the Cosmetics tab in the Items menu (press R on PC).

Where to farm crafting materials

Materials drop from enemies during Survival and Infinity runs, and the map you queue into decides which items are available. Cloth and Screws drop on every map, but the rarer materials are locked to specific stages.

MaterialWhere it drops
ClothAll maps, all game modes
ScrewsAll maps, all game modes
LeafImpel Down map only
MetalImpel Down map only
DiamondImpel Down map only
CrystalImpel Down map only
Cursed OrbShibuya map only
Cursed FingerShibuya map only
Inverted SpearShibuya map only
Tip: Running the highest difficulty you can clear gives the best material-per-minute rate, since drop counts scale with difficulty. If you end up with extra low-tier materials, use the Convert menu to turn them into the ones you actually need.

Best cosmetics to equip

Because you can wear three cosmetics at once, the strongest setup combines the top three by raw stats rather than picking a single piece. In the current version, the Head of Hei Outfit, Battle Suit, and Golden Racer give the highest combined damage, health, and drop-chance values.

  • Highest damage: Head of Hei Outfit (+45% Damage)
  • Highest health: Battle Suit and Golden Racer (+75 HP each)
  • Best farming bonus: Head of Hei Outfit, Battle Suit, and Golden Racer all give +12% Coins, EXP, and Drop chance
  • Best mid-tier pickup: Admiral Cloak, since +10% drop chance is rare among craftables, and the materials are easier than the Hei Outfit

If your build still relies on cooldown reduction, swap one of the above for Akatsuki's Robe (+10% CD Reduction) or Adaptation Wheel (+5% CD Reduction with +10% EXP).

How to equip cosmetics

Open your inventory by pressing R on PC, then switch to the Cosmetics tab. Click a cosmetic to equip it, and click again to remove it. The character preview updates instantly, and the stat changes apply on your next run. A cosmetic counts as equipped once the slot indicator fills, with a maximum of three equipped at any time.
