Staying alive in Anime Apocalypse comes down to one thing more than any flashy weapon, and that is synergy. The zombie waves get dense, bosses hit hard, and the difference between clearing a raid and getting flattened usually lives in your loadout. The five categories that decide your power are abilities, traits, gadgets, titles, and pets, and each one has clear winners in the current meta.
Anime Apocalypse abilities tier list
Abilities are your core combat kit, and the meta leans heavily toward steady ticking damage and crowd control over single-target burst because of how many enemies spawn in late-game runs. Most abilities are ranked at Mastery 100, where the V skill unlocks. You level Mastery just by killing zombies with the weapon equipped, and that progress is saved per weapon when you swap.
| Ability | Tier | Rarity | Why it ranks here |
|---|---|---|---|
Coyote![]() | S | Mythic | Scales hardest in Infinite. The Level 100 Cero Metralleta transformation clears screens from a safe distance. |
Pride![]() | S | Mythic | Top pick for Boss Raids. Its fire damage over time bypasses many damage-reduction phases and stays strong at every Mastery level. |
Saiyan![]() | A | Supreme | The best support-hybrid weapon. High mobility plus i-frames and the UI revive make it the go-to secondary for World Five. |
Shadow Monarch![]() | A | Mythic | Dominates Infinite with summons, but needs heavy Mastery investment before it pays off. |
Destructive Fists![]() | A | Exclusive | Consistent melee damage for early and mid game. Limited range holds it back against explosive mobs. |
Sosuke![]() | B | Legendary | The best beginner carry thanks to the high-burst Susanoo slash, but it lacks the endgame multipliers. |
Fire Fighter![]() | B | Exclusive | A balanced middle-ground DPS option that handles most modes without standing out. |
King of Curses![]() | B | Legendary | The weakest Legendary. The moves drag enemies around, which makes team combos awkward. |
Nen Prodigy![]() | C | Epic | Useful only at the very start before stronger weapons outscale it. |
Zorro![]() | D | Rare | Narrow hitboxes and no elemental synergy make it obsolete past the first three worlds. |
The Mastery curve matters as much as the weapon itself. Hitting milestones changes how your ability performs, so it is worth knowing what you are grinding toward.
| Mastery level | Reward |
|---|---|
| 25 | +2 Walkspeed |
| 50 | +2 Damage |
| 75 | +35% Damage |
| 100 | Unlocks the V skill |
Anime Apocalypse traits tier list
Traits are rolled at the Trait Scientist and provide the foundation multipliers for your base stats. They carry some of the biggest swings in the game, both good and bad, so a clean roll is a real boost and a bad one is an active penalty.
| Trait | Tier | Stats and notes |
|---|---|---|
Flash![]() | S | +20% DMG, +25% ATK Speed, +7 Walkspeed, +20% CD Reduction, +7% Coins, +7% EXP, +5% Lifesteal, +40 HP. The best trait for Survival and Infinite because of its sustained damage and uptime. |
| Godly | S | The rarest roll. Buffs every stat by 20%, making it a powerful all-rounder. |
Reaper![]() | A | +35% DMG, +10% ATK Speed, +3 Walkspeed, +10% CD Reduction, +7% Coins, +7% EXP, +5% Lifesteal, +40 HP. Its damage climbs with every kill up to a 50% cap, making it the pick for Raid burst. |
| Destroyer | A | A flat 35% damage boost with no setup. The most reliable set-and-forget trait. |
Hunter![]() | B | +10% DMG, +5% ATK Speed, +1 Walkspeed, +5% CD Reduction. A balanced mid-game trait with no economy or defensive extras. |
Fortune![]() | C | +5% Coins, +5% EXP. Pure farming value with no combat help. |
Zombie![]() | C | +5% Lifesteal, +20 HP. Survival-focused, but kills slower without offensive stats. |
| Slow, Weak, Fragile, Dull | D | These can apply negative multipliers. Slow cuts movement speed by 15%, which makes dodging Desert Expedition mechanics nearly impossible. |
If you land any D-tier trait, spend your Trait Shards to reroll right away. Unlike the other categories, a bad trait actively slows you down in high-level content instead of just giving small benefits.
Anime Apocalypse gadgets tier list
Gadgets are your tactical safety net, and the best ones supply either hard crowd control or full invulnerability. The right choice changes with the mode, so swap them before each run.
| Gadget | Tier | Best use |
|---|---|---|
| Black Hole | S | Pulls enemies into one point for huge AoE setups. Dominant in Survival and Infinite, weaker in Raids since it can shift boss position. |
| Rage | S | A movement speed and damage boost for fast farming and big burst rotations. The top Raid gadget for melting bosses. |
| Infinity | A | Grants 15 seconds of total invulnerability, the longest safety window in the game. The main way to survive Desert Boss enrage phases. |
| Conqueror's Haki | A | Strong crowd control for stunning frequent enemy groups in Survival and Infinite. |
| Energy Shield | A | A solid defensive option for swarms. |
| Time Stop | B | Useful Raid defense for escaping damage; situational elsewhere. |
| Gravity Field | B | Weak but occasionally handy crowd control. |
| Beacon Taunt | C | Unreliable now. High-level mobs destroy the beacon almost instantly. |
| Medkit, Basic Shield | D | Negligible. A single World Five hit can exceed the shield's whole health pool. |

Anime Apocalypse titles tier list
Titles hand out some of the largest percentage buffs available, and the world-completion titles beat almost every character-themed one. The gap at the top is wide.
| Title | Tier | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| World Five | S | +55% damage, +65 HP, +15% cooldown reduction, +20% item drop rate. The single best title in the game by a clear margin. |
| Fire Lord | A | The top tank title with the highest health boost (+75 HP) and a competitive damage profile. |
| Upper Moon | A | +25% drop rate plus +30% damage, the preferred grinder pick. |
| Fleet Admiral, Culling Winner, Wealthy, Infinite Champion | A | Balanced damage, health, and economy stats for steady progress and farming. |
| Immortal, Monster Hunter, Dungeon Master, Boss Reaper, Zombie Slayer, Collector | B | Focused 20% boosts, often against specific enemy types. Boss Reaper and Zombie Slayer are strong upgrades over any D-tier title. |
| Parkour Legend, Survivor, Speedrunner, Golden Assassin | C | Low values that fall off quickly. |
| Sin of Pride, Nen Prodigy, King of Curses, The Pirate Hunter, Shadow Monarch, Super Saiyan | D | Iconic but mathematically irrelevant, often only 3% to 5% damage with no secondary stats. Essentially cosmetic. |
Note that the popular character titles like Shadow Monarch and Super Saiyan sit in D-tier on purpose. They look cool, but their modifiers cannot keep up with current power scaling, so drop them the moment you earn anything from B-tier or higher.
Anime Apocalypse pets tier list
Pets act as the glue for a build, adding passive sustain and secondary damage. The key split is percentage-based pets versus flat-stat pets, and in a meta where damage runs into the millions, flat bonuses are invisible.
| Pet | Tier | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Igris | S | 3% Lifesteal, 12% damage, 15 HP, 10 speed. The lifesteal lets you survive World Five chip damage without healing gadgets. |
| Hollow Mask, Shadow Dragon | S | Dense modifier stacks that suit serious endgame builds. |
| Kurama | A | A flat 15% damage increase, the highest raw damage multiplier of any pet. Ideal for glass-cannon builds. |
| Sukuna's Finger, Divine Dog | A | Strong all-around modifiers for damage builds. |
| Panda, Slime, Hawk | B | Slime adds gem and coin bonuses for farming but gives nothing for survival. |
| Tiger, Cat | C | Minor support value. |
| Monkey, Common Dog, Bird, Hamster | D | Flat boosts like +2 DMG that have no measurable impact in late game. |

Best loadouts by game mode
Because each mode rewards different things, the strongest builds shift depending on whether you are fighting a single boss or surviving endless waves. Raids favor raw damage, while Survival and Infinite favor crowd control and uptime.
| Mode | Gadget | Trait | Focus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Raid | Rage | Reaper | Burst boss damage; dodge telegraphs instead of tanking. |
| Survival | Black Hole | Flash | Group enemies, then clear with sustained AoE. |
| Infinite | Black Hole | Flash | High uptime and crowd control for long runs. |
Build around the S-tier picks first, then fill the remaining slots with whatever you have unlocked. Coyote and Pride carry abilities, Flash and Godly carry traits, the World Five title outclasses everything, and Igris keeps you standing. Once those pieces are in place, the rest of your loadout just rounds out the build for the mode you are running.
