The Zanpakuto is a permanent Power upgrade added to Anime Astral Simulator in Update 6. You build it at Hueco Mundo (World 10) by combining four different Zanpakuto Fragments, and once equipped it multiplies your Power. It sits firmly in the end-game, so you only reach it after you have opened the last world and pushed your Slayer Relic to Level 100.
Quick answer: Unlock Hueco Mundo and level your Slayer Relic to 100, farm all four Zanpakuto Fragments from Raids, Defenses, Trials or Dungeons, and World Bosses, then open the crafting station in Hueco Mundo and press Craft.
Requirements before you can craft
The crafting station stays locked until two conditions are met. Both are late-game milestones, so newer players will not see this system yet.
- Unlock Hueco Mundo (World 10), the final world where the crafting station lives.
- Raise your Slayer Relic to Level 100.
Once both are done, the Zanpakuto Crafting menu becomes usable through the Hueco Mundo teleport interface.
Where every Zanpakuto Fragment drops
You need one of each fragment, and each comes from a different game mode. That means you cannot grind a single activity to finish the weapon. All four are Divine-rarity materials that stack in the Materials tab of your inventory.

The fragments are random drops, so you may need several runs of a mode before the one you want appears. Check the Materials tab in your inventory to confirm you are holding one of each before you head to the anvil.
Craft the Zanpakuto in Hueco Mundo
A “Crafted: Zanpakuto” screen confirms it worked, and the weapon starts at Level 1 with a Power: 1.3x boost. Equipping it applies that multiplier to your Power.
Leveling up the Zanpakuto
The Zanpakuto grows stronger through enemy kills, not through relic-style upgrades. Every enemy you defeat feeds its progress bar, and kills count across every world and every game mode. You do not need to be in a specific area to make progress.
Each level adds +0.3x to the Power multiplier. Level 1 is 1.3x, Level 2 becomes 1.6x, and it keeps climbing from there. To see your current kill count and the number needed for the next level, reopen the Craft Zanpakuto menu, where the progress bar shows a value such as “Lvl. 1 (0/400)”.
The maximum level and top multiplier are not currently known, so the weapon keeps scaling as long as you keep clearing enemies.
Because leveling runs entirely on normal combat, the Zanpakuto is one of the more efficient long-term Power boosts in the game. If you have already reached Hueco Mundo and maxed your Slayer Relic, gathering the four fragments and crafting it is a strong next step, and it keeps paying off through everyday play.
