Update 8 pushes the ceiling of what a single unit in Anime Dice can become. It stacks a new rarest trait, a new highest grade, and a fresh passive-buff system on top of each other, so one maxed character can now generate cash at a scale earlier versions of the game never allowed. The update also adds a luck mechanic that shows up mid-roll, two new Heavenly dice, two gamepasses, and a code that drops free rerolls and spins into your account.
Quick answer: Update 8 brings the Genesis trait, Omega (Ω) grade, Quirks, Clovers, new dice, and gamepasses. Redeem UPDATE8 to get 50 Trait Rerolls; it also awards 50 Gems and 5 Lucky Spins.
Genesis trait: the new rarest trait
Genesis sits at the top of the trait pool with a roll chance of 0.000065%, or roughly 1 in 153,846. When applied to a unit it grants 140x Income, 120x Damage, and 120x Health, which is a large jump over the trait tier that sat at the top before. Each unit can only hold one trait at a time, so a Genesis roll permanently replaces whatever the unit had.
Here is how Genesis compares to the other high-end traits and their multipliers:
| Trait | Income / Damage / Health | Roll chance |
|---|---|---|
| Genesis | 140x / 120x / 120x | 0.000065% |
| Paradox | 57.5x / 57.5x / 57.5x | 0.0023% |
| Eternal | 30x / 30x / 30x | 0.0054% |
| Transcendent | 15x / 15x / 15x | 0.012% |
| Monarch | 8x / 8x / 8x | 0.044% |
Trait rolls happen at the Traits station in the plaza, and each reroll consumes one Trait Reroll. Because Genesis is so rare, landing it usually takes a deep stockpile of rerolls built up from codes, Daily Rewards, and Tower clears rather than a handful of attempts.

Omega (Ω) grade: the new highest grade
Omega is the new top grade and carries a 250x Income multiplier. Its base roll chance is 0.000049%, and that figure shifts to 0.000036% or 0.000025% depending on the luck boosts applied at the time of the roll. Grades stack with traits, so a unit holding both Genesis and Omega combines two separate income multipliers on the same character.
Grade rolls are handled at the Grades station, separate from traits. Pairing a high-income trait with the Omega grade is what drives the extreme cash figures the update enables, since both multipliers apply to the unit’s passive earnings at once.

Quirks: passive buffs for units on podiums
Quirks are a separate layer of buffs you roll onto units stationed on podiums. Rather than touching base stats like traits do, each Quirk applies a passive bonus such as extra luck, a money multiplier, trait or grade luck, or faster roll duration. Rolling a Quirk costs 105oc per attempt at the new Quirk station, and the station includes auto-roll settings for repeated attempts.

These are the Quirks currently available and what each one does:
| Quirk | Effect | Roll chance |
|---|---|---|
| Midas Touch | +15% Luck, +75% Money Multiplier | 0.0089% |
| Prodigy | +20% Grade Luck, +20% Trait Luck | 0.017% |
| Tycoon | +50% Money Multiplier | 0.035% |
| Swift III | -1.5% Roll Duration | 0.044% |
| Gifted III | +10% Trait Luck | 0.17% |
| Refined III | +10% Grade Luck | 0.17% |
| Wealth III | +25% Money Multiplier | 0.17% |
| Fortune III | +50% Luck | 0.17% |
Because money-multiplier Quirks like Wealth and Tycoon stack on top of a unit’s trait and grade income, they are a natural fit for whichever character you have already invested the most rerolls into.

Clovers: mid-roll luck multipliers
Clovers are a luck mechanic that appears visually during normal rolls, showing a multiplier badge such as x2, x4, x8, x16, or x32. When a Clover triggers, it boosts the luck of that roll by the shown amount. The effect applies to standard rolls only and does not carry over to Jackpot Spins or Lucky Spins.
New dice and gamepasses
The Dice Shop gained the Checkers Heavenly die, which provides 20,000,000,000x Luck for a price of $20no in in-game cash. A Genesis Heavenly die is also present at 10,000,000,000x Luck. Higher-luck dice raise your odds across normal rolls, which matters most when chasing the new top-tier trait and grade.
Two gamepasses let you roll in bulk rather than one at a time:
- More Traits — roll +5 traits at once, for 329 Robux.
- More Grades — roll +5 grades at once, for 299 Robux.
The skill tree was expanded too, adding new Trait Rolls and Grade Rolls upgrade paths that increase how many rolls you get per action.
The UPDATE8 code and its rewards
Update 8 has a dedicated code: UPDATE8. Its rewards are 50 Trait Rerolls and 50 Gems, along with 5 Lucky Spins. Use the rerolls to pursue Genesis, while Lucky Spins add unit pulls that bypass the Clover multiplier system.
To enter a code, use the Shop menu positioned on the screen’s left. Open Shop, move down past the gamepasses to the Codes entry field, type UPDATE8, then select the green Redeem button.

You know the code worked when the reward confirmation appears and your Trait Reroll, Gem, and Lucky Spin counts increase by the listed amounts. If nothing is added, the code was likely already redeemed on your account or typed with an extra space.

Taken together, Update 8 is built around one idea: concentrating power into a single unit. A character that holds the Genesis trait, the Omega grade, and a money-focused Quirk at the same time reaches cash-per-second figures far beyond anything the earlier grade and trait caps allowed, which is exactly why the free rerolls and spins from UPDATE8 are worth claiming before you start hunting for them.
