Anime Expeditions: How the Cubert Stacking and Cooldown Glitches Work

A breakdown of the three exploits pushing damage multipliers past 2x and slashing ability cooldowns in the Roblox tower defense.

A breakdown of the three exploits pushing damage multipliers past 2x and slashing ability cooldowns in the Roblox tower defense.

Three exploits are currently reshaping high-level play in Anime Expeditions, the Roblox tower defense from Expeditions Entertainment. Each one abuses how the game handles unit buffs, ability timers, and placement confirmations, and together they let players inflate damage well beyond intended limits in the Infinity Tower and tournament modes.

Quick answer: Stack Cubert buffs by setting each Cubert’s priority to “None” and spam-clicking your DPS unit during the summon animation; bypass cooldowns by confirming a placement ability at exactly 1 second on its auto-cancel timer; and keep a buff permanently by linking Cubert to a buffing unit, upgrading it, then selling it.

Cubert buff stacking glitch for higher damage multipliers

Cubert’s passive normally grants a 5% damage boost. Placing cubes close together triggers a “Cube Link” bonus that stacks on top of that base value. The exploit forces multiple Cube Links onto a single damage dealer instead of letting the cubes spread out, which multiplies the buff far past its intended ceiling.

Place down up to three Cubert units near the DPS carry you want to buff, such as Crow (Black Fire) or Megumi (Shadow).
Open the Unit Manager and set each Cubert’s priority to “None.” This stops the cubes from leaving the buffed unit and searching for other targets.
Trigger the “Cube Summon” ability for every Cubert from inside the Unit Manager so all of them charge at once.

Spam-click the target DPS unit during the summon animation. Each click stacks another Cube Link onto that unit, multiplying its damage output. This method reached a 2.05x multiplier on Megumi (Shadow) with three Cuberts.

The scaling is severe when pushed. Stacking 15 Cuberts in Sandbox mode boosted a single carry’s damage past 250,000, showing how quickly the multiplier compounds when more Cuberts are added.

Ability cooldown bypass with the placement timer

Certain abilities require you to manually place them and show an “Auto-canceling” countdown while you position the effect. Confirming at the last possible moment tricks the game into skipping or shortening the ability’s cooldown. On Gohan’s Prodigy (Rage), this cut the nuke cooldown from 80 seconds down to 50 seconds.

Activate a placement-based ability that shows an auto-cancel timer, such as Winged Spirit (Divine)’s “Relocate” or Gohan’s “Father and Son Spirit Energy.”
Watch the countdown and wait until it reaches exactly 1 second remaining.
Confirm the placement at that 1-second mark. Timed correctly, the ability’s cooldown is bypassed or heavily reduced instead of running its full length.

When the cooldown glitch does not work

This only affects abilities that require manual placement and display the auto-cancel timer. Abilities that fire instantly, with no placement step, cannot be timed this way and will not have their cooldowns reduced.

Infinite damage buff glitch after selling a support unit

Support buffs are meant to disappear when the buffing unit leaves the field. This exploit locks the buff in place before the game can remove it, so a DPS unit keeps the bonus permanently even after its source is gone. Using Forbidden Teacher as the buffer produced a 2.35x multiplier that stayed active after she was deleted.

Place Cubert and a buffing unit, such as Forbidden Teacher or The Hero, next to your DPS unit.
Use Cubert’s ability to link to the buffing unit.
Upgrade the buffing unit to raise its buff percentage as high as you can afford.
Sell or delete the buffing unit. The increased damage buff stays on the target DPS unit for the rest of the run, freeing the slot while keeping the bonus.

Combining the buff glitches for maximum damage

The two damage exploits stack. Applying the permanent buff first, then layering the Cubert spam-click stacking on top, pushes a single carry’s output far higher than either method alone. This is the setup that drives the extreme sandbox figures, where a stacked carry crossed 250,000 damage.

Stun modifiers that break the Cubert setup

Stun modifiers are the main thing that undoes the Cubert stacking exploit. A stun can hit Cubert’s cubes and knock them out of the “None” priority state. Once that happens, the cubes leave your buffed carry and the stacked multiplier collapses. On maps or modes with stun modifiers active, the buff cannot be held reliably.

Note: These behaviors depend on the current build and are expected to be targeted in a future update. Because exploits like these are patch candidates, treat any of them as temporary and confirm they still function in your own client before relying on them.
