Anime Expeditions: How to Get and Evolve Wild Card Into Ace Form

Wild Card is a Mythic-tier unit added to Anime Expeditions in the Endless Hellflame update on September 25, 2026. It is a Dark, Magical damage dealer that you earn by clearing high-end content rather than through the standard summon banner, and it can be pushed further into its stronger Ace form through the Evolve system.

Quick answer: Clear Tier 5 of the Infernal Portal for a 5% chance to unlock Wild Card, then evolve it with a Pocket Lighter, Sprites, and 10,000 Gold to reach its Ace form.

How to get Wild Card

Wild Card only drops from the Infernal Portal, and reaching that portal requires clearing another endgame stage first. Both steps are low-probability, so expect repeat runs.

Play the Infinite stage of the Flaming Monastery game mode and clear it. Each clear carries a 5% chance to award an Infernal Portal.

Enter the Infernal Portal and clear Tier 5. Every successful Tier 5 clear has a 5% chance to drop Wild Card. You know it worked when the unit appears in your inventory.

Because both drops sit at 5%, banking multiple Infernal Portals before attempting Tier 5 lets you chain attempts without farming the Monastery again each time.

How to evolve Wild Card into Ace form

Once Wild Card is in your roster, its Ace form is unlocked through the Evolve area. The gating item is the Pocket Lighter, which comes from a specific quest rather than a drop.

Complete the Guardians Plight [Wild Card] quest to receive the Pocket Lighter. This item is required and cannot be skipped.

Collect the Sprites and Gold needed for the recipe so everything is ready in one visit to the Evolve area.

Head to the Evolve area and spend the full set of materials to unlock the Ace form.
