Cubert is a limited exclusive unit in the Roblox tower defense game Anime Expeditions, and there is only one way to earn it. You have to reach and beat Floor 50 in the game’s Tower mode while the current season is still running. It is a Hydro and Magical unit, so it also plays a role in the same floors you clear to unlock it.
Quick answer: Enter Normal Tower, push your strongest team to Floor 50, and defeat it before the season ends with Update 3. Cubert lands in your unit collection the moment Floor 50 is cleared.

Cubert unit details
Cubert arrived with the Warriors Saga update alongside the new Tower mode. It is tied to the seasonal Tower, which means it stays available only while this season is active. Once the season closes with Update 3, the unlock window shuts.

Add to Google Preferences →Normal Tower vs Traitless Tower
Tower splits into two separate sub-modes, and only one of them is required for Cubert. Both feature endless floors with random resistances, but they treat your unit traits differently and keep their own progress and rewards.
| Mode | How traits behave | Needed for Cubert |
|---|---|---|
| Normal Tower | All unit traits work, including Unbound, Primordial, and Draconic | Yes |
| Traitless Tower | Every trait passive is disabled, so you rely on synergy, upgrades, and placement | No |
Because Normal Tower lets your traits stay active, it is the faster and more forgiving route to Floor 50. Save Traitless Tower for its own milestone rewards after you have secured Cubert.

How floor damage multipliers work
Every floor changes which elements and attack types deal more or less damage. A multiplier above 1.00x means that element hits harder there, so slot in units of that type. A multiplier below 1.00x means enemies resist it, so pull those units out. These are examples of the values you will run into.
| Damage type | Multiplier | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Gaia | 2.79x | Bring Gaia units |
| Storm | 2.39x | Bring Storm units |
| Hydro | 2.15x | Bring Hydro units |
| Physical | 0.72x | Swap Physical units out |
| Magical | 0.50x | Swap Magical units out |

Countering enemy modifiers
Floors also stack enemy modifiers on top of resistances. Reading them tells you whether you need more raw damage, crowd control, or faster kills before summons pile up.
| Modifier | Effect |
|---|---|
| Tank | Moves 20% slower but has 20% more health |
| Sprinter | Moves 45% faster but has 20% less health |
| Summoner | Every 6 seconds, spawns enemies at its location up to 5 units |
Note: Summoner floors punish slow clears the most. Use crowd control and burst damage to remove the summoner before it floods the lane.
Balanced Tower team composition
A flexible team beats a team of only your rarest units, because you can adapt to whatever element or modifier a floor throws at you. Build around four roles and keep spare damage units of different elements and attack types on hand.
| Role | Example unit | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Farm | Stone Alchemist | Builds your economy to place and upgrade units |
| Crowd control | Salmon Sorcerer | Slows or stalls waves and summons |
| Support | The Hero or Forbidden Teacher | Buffs your damage dealers |
| Damage (multiple) | Varied elements and attack types | Swap in whatever the floor boosts |

Milestone and leaderboard rewards
Reaching Floor 50 is not the only payoff. Milestone rewards are tracked separately for Normal and Traitless Tower, so you can earn progression rewards twice by clearing floors in both. On top of that, the seasonal leaderboard hands out higher-tier prizes based on your rank.
| Reward | Type |
|---|---|
| Shiny Cubert | Shiny variant of the unit |
| Bioinsect (Mecha) | Skin |
| Transformation | Emote |
| Tower Master | Title |
| Trait Crystal | Upgrade resource |
| Gem | Summoning currency |
| Crown | Cosmetic |

The deadline to keep in mind
Cubert is tied to the current Tower season, and that season ends when Update 3 releases. No official date for Update 3 is confirmed yet, so the safest plan is to clear Floor 50 as soon as your team can handle it rather than waiting. Once the unit shows up in your collection after the win, you have secured it permanently, and you can keep pushing higher floors for the leaderboard rewards like Shiny Cubert.
