Flame Emperor is a Mythic unit in Anime Expeditions that pairs the Flame element with the Magical archetype. It arrived with the game’s Release (0.0) build on July 17th, 2026, and it is one of the few Mythics worth chasing early because its Burn spreads across packed waves. There is only one way to obtain it, and the process comes down to summoning on the right banner.
Quick answer: Summon on the Standard/Mini Banner. Flame Emperor has a 0.5% pull rate, with a hard pity that guarantees the unit at 400 summons if you have not pulled it before then.

Where Flame Emperor comes from
Flame Emperor is a Standard/Mini Banner unit, so you do not need a limited event or a special code to get it. Open the Summon menu, select the Standard/Mini Banner, and spin. Every roll has a flat chance to produce Flame Emperor, and the game tracks a pity counter in the background that removes the risk of infinite bad luck.
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Banner | Standard/Mini Banner |
| Pull rate | 0.5% |
| Pity (guaranteed) | 400 summons |
| Rarity | Mythic |
| Placement limit | 5 |
The 0.5% rate means most players will not see the unit in their first handful of pulls. The 400-summon pity is your safety net. If you reach that count without a Flame Emperor, the next summon on that banner delivers one.
You will know it worked when the summon animation resolves into the Mythic unit and Flame Emperor appears in your Units list. From there it can be placed on the field, up to the placement limit of five copies.

Flame Emperor’s passive, Wildfire, controls how its Burn behaves. Whenever it applies Burn to an enemy, that Burn jumps to the three nearest enemies that are not already burning. In practice, a single hit can leave four enemies burning at once, which is why the unit clears dense groups without needing precise targeting.
The unit deals Magical archetype damage with the Flame element. Its upgrade path scales damage and range across seven levels, with the Yen cost and output shown below.
| Upgrade | Cost (¥) | DPS |
|---|---|---|
| UPG 0 | 550 | 15.00 |
| UPG 1 | 1,050 | 23.42 |
| UPG 2 | 1,450 | 29.78 |
| UPG 3 | 2,200 | 39.78 |
| UPG 4 | 2,500 | 32.97 |
| UPG 5 | 3,050 | 37.78 |
| UPG 6 | 3,750 | 41.86 |
Evolving into Flame Emperor (Reincarnate)
The base Mythic upgrades into Flame Emperor (Reincarnate), the stronger form that sits at the top of the current meta. This form keeps the Wildfire behavior and adds Wall of Fire, which lets you manually mark an entire lane with Burn to catch enemies outside the normal attack pattern. To evolve, you need one Flame Emperor plus the materials below.
| Material | Amount |
|---|---|
| Burning Fruit | x1 |
| Sprite (Red) | x20 |
| Sprite (Yellow) | x20 |
| Sprite (Rainbow) | x1 |
| Gold | x5,000 |
Sprites come from Challenge rewards, so farming those modes is the practical way to stockpile the Red, Yellow, and Rainbow variants the evolution requires. Once you have every material and the base unit, the evolve option becomes available on Flame Emperor.

Note: The Reincarnate form is what most players target for hard content. Investing the evolution materials turns Flame Emperor from a strong wave-clearer into one of the safest Mythic picks in the release meta, and it also serves as the best enabler for Burn-dependent units such as Hollow.
Getting Flame Emperor is a matter of committing to the Standard/Mini Banner and letting the pity system do the rest. Pull toward 400 summons if the 0.5% rate does not favor you early, then spend your Sprite stock on the Reincarnate evolution once the unit is in hand.
