The Dragon’s Wish event in Anime Expeditions hands out one of the strongest traits in the game for free. Finish its quests and you walk away with the Unbound trait plus the Fierce Dragon flying mount, both tied to a limited window that closes when Update 2 goes live.
Quick answer: Open the Events menu, select Dragon’s Wish, and collect all seven Wish Orbs by finishing each orb’s quests. Orbs unlock one at a time, roughly every 24 hours. Once all seven are gathered, press Redeem Wish to claim the Unbound trait and the Fierce Dragon mount, then apply Unbound to a Dragon-category unit.

What the Unbound trait and Fierce Dragon reward
Unbound is a Mythic trait with a normal roll chance of just 0.1%, which makes the free copy from this event a shortcut past a very long grind. It stacks a large damage boost with a small attack-speed cut and extra range, but it comes with one hard limit. Any unit carrying Unbound can only be placed once.
| Effect | Value |
|---|---|
| Damage | +350% |
| SPA (seconds per attack) | -5% |
| Range | +10% |
| Placement | Single placement only |
Because the multiplier all lands on a single unit, Unbound is best on carries you were only fielding once anyway. The second reward, the Fierce Dragon, is an exclusive flying mount included in the final redemption alongside the trait.

The free Unbound trait from Dragon’s Wish can only be applied to a Dragon-category unit. Plan for that before you redeem, because the trait is locked to that unit type. Units in the Dragon category include Carrot, Vegetable, The Drink, and Bioinsect, and one of the early quests already pushes you to obtain a Dragon unit through summoning.
How the seven Wish Orbs work
The event screen holds seven Wish Orbs, and only one is available at a time. Each orb carries its own set of quests. When you finish an orb’s quests, you collect that orb, then wait for a 24-hour timer to expire before the next one opens. This pacing means the full event takes about a week of daily check-ins, so starting early matters.
Every quest you complete also pays out 10 Event Coins. Those coins are spent in the Event Shop, which stocks items useful for trait and stat tuning.
| Event Shop item | Cost |
|---|---|
| Trait Crystal (1x) | 10 Event Coins |
| 3x Stat Reroll (1x) | 10 Event Coins |
| Stat Lock (1x) | 10 Event Coins |
| 3x Equipment Reroll (1x) | 10 Event Coins |
| Equipment Lock (1x) | 10 Event Coins |
| 5x Sprite (Grey) (1x) | 10 Event Coins |
Wish Orb 1 quests
The first orb sets the pattern for the rest. It bundles seven tasks that mix combat, exploration, and menu actions. Clear all seven to collect Orb 1 and unlock the timer for Orb 2.
| Quest | Task |
|---|---|
| 1 | Complete 1 Daily Challenge |
| 2 | Find Wish Orb 1 in East Town |
| 3 | Obtain any Dragon unit |
| 4 | Win 1 game of Guess That Unit! |
| 5 | Obtain 1 Equipment |
| 6 | Complete and claim 3 quests |
| 7 | Complete any act of East Town on Hard Mode 5 times |
A few of these have quick shortcuts. Quest 2 is a hidden orb tucked away in East Town, Quest 4 only needs a single win of Guess That Unit! on Normal difficulty, and Quest 5 is satisfied by crafting an equipment piece such as the Enhanced Katana in the Armory.

Claim the Unbound trait and Fierce Dragon

How to confirm it worked
You know an orb is done when all seven of its quests read as complete and the orb fills in on the event screen. The Redeem Wish button only becomes usable after every orb is collected. Once you redeem, the Fierce Dragon appears in your mounts and the Unbound trait is available to attach, showing its +350% damage line on the Dragon unit you pick.
When the Dragon’s Wish event ends
Dragon’s Wish is a limited-time event that closes when Update 2 releases. No official end date and time is currently confirmed, so treat the release of Update 2 as the deadline rather than a fixed calendar date. Since the orbs unlock roughly one per day, delaying your start risks running out of days before all seven can be collected. Begin the first orb now and keep logging in daily to stay on pace for the full reward.
