It arrived with the Extermination Event Part 2 (Update 14.0) on July 27, 2026, and it is locked behind a single event item plus one Boss Rush clear. Get the item, keep it, and finish the fight, and the unit is yours.

Pure Love’s Ring is described in-game as “A ring brimming with pure love. Used to evolve Cursed Copycat.” It is the most expensive item in the event shop, so plan your token farming around it.
Get Pure Love’s Ring
There are two ways to land the ring. The shop purchase is the guaranteed route. The stage drop is a bonus if luck goes your way.
Note: If you want the reliable path, spend the 2,000 tokens. The stage drop can save you tokens, but you may clear it many times before the ring appears.
Unlock Cursed Copycat in the Boss Rush
With the ring secured, the unlock is a single fight. Do not sell or spend the ring before you finish it.
You know it worked when the Victory screen lists Cursed Copycat x1 among your rewards. The unit then appears in your collection.
Why the unlock fails
Only a few things stop the reward from dropping. Check these before you queue.
- You entered the Boss Rush without Pure Love’s Ring in your inventory. Wave 30 will not hand over the unit.
- You did not reach and clear wave 30. The Cursed Copycat boss on that wave is the trigger.
- The event window closed. This unlock runs on the limited Part 2 event loop, so finish it while the shop and Boss Rush are still live.
Evolve into Cursed Copycat (Pure)
The base unit can evolve into Cursed Copycat (Pure) at the Evolve area. The recipe spends a second Pure Love’s Ring, so buy another from the Extermination Event Dungeon Shop for 2,000 Extermination Tokens before you start.

Talk to the Evolve NPC, hand over the materials, and you receive Cursed Copycat (Pure). Placing this form spawns a second entity called The Attached One (Rika), which shares the unit’s stats and attacks the same target you do.
How Cursed Copycat plays
Cursed Copycat is a Passion-element unit built around critical hits and copied attacks. Its passive, Flash of Black, makes it attack continuously while not stunned. When an attack’s first hit is critical, that attack deals 100% more damage and grants 2 Pure Love stacks. Any Critical Chance buff also raises its damage by the same amount, and at 100% or higher Critical Chance its range grows by 50%.
Its signature tool is the Copycat active, which opens a menu to copy another unit’s current attack into one of five slots. The element of a copied attack changes the bonus you gain, so the unit rewards planning your copy targets.

The Pure form also carries a 60-second Pure Love active. It moves The Attached One to a spot on the stage, then fires a beam that spends all Pure Love stacks, dealing 2% more damage per stack. Because critical chance feeds directly into damage here, stacking Unbound copies to push past 100% Critical Chance is the core of a strong build.
Since this unit lives on a limited event, the safest plan is simple. Buy at least one Pure Love’s Ring right away, keep it in your bag, and clear wave 30 before the Extermination Event Part 2 loop rotates out. Farm a second ring only if you intend to evolve into Pure straight away.
