A three-stop transmitter run on Riven Tides that rewards a Heavy Shield and a Looting Mk. 2 augment.

Celeste’s Teenage Rebellion sends you back to Riven Tides to repair a chain of old transmitters, filling in a slice of her past before the ARC attack waves. It is a walking job more than a fighting one, built from a handful of interactions spread across the map rather than any loot runs.

Quick answer: Transmit from the lookout tower on Mulatierra Hill, inspect the radio transmitter at the old Raider Camp between Azzurro Beach and Wharf, then weld and power the generator at the large antenna in the far northeast, and hand in to Celeste in Speranza.

What to bring to Riven Tides

You don’t need to bring anything into the raid or extract with anything, so choose a free loadout and leave the Safe Pocket empty. The objectives run from the map’s central area to its eastern shoreline, requiring a lengthy trip where you may encounter ARC machines and other players.

Since there’s nothing to bring back, complete the field objectives and surrender to get back to Speranza without battling your way to an extraction point. If something derails your attempt, you can tackle the objectives over multiple raids.

Transmit from the Mulatierra Hill lookout tower

Make your way to the map’s central area, just beside the Raider’s Hatch and north of the Customs House. You can easily pick out the tall concrete tower on Mulatierra Hill from far away.
Enter the tower, then use its ladders to reach the top floor. At the opening in the upper window, select Transmit Location to complete objective one.
From the tower, you can also mark three ARC machines as an optional task. Aim down sights and tag three enemies there to complete it; alternatively, leave it alone, as skipping it won’t fail the quest.

The transmission draws nearby ARC units. As you prepare to descend, watch for big airborne enemies, including the Rocketeer or Vaporiser; they may kill you while you’re leaving the tower.

Inspect the radio transmitter at the old Raider Camp

Head northwest to the area between Azzurro Beach and Wharf, close to Hotel Panorama Azzurro, which overlooks the coast. At the cliff’s edge, look for the old Raider Camp, identifiable by its makeshift shelter and scattered containers.

Approach the camp and interact with the radio transmitter rig using the Inspect Antenna prompt. The search objective clears and your quest tracker updates with the final location.

Weld and power the large antenna overlooking the harbor

Continue east until you reach the northeastern hills, going beyond the Harbor and east of Wavebreaker. On the clifftop, look for a small structure beside a tall antenna with red-and-white bands, visible from a distance.
Find the damaged generator at the tower’s base, then hold the interact button to Weld it and restore its function.
Use the machine once more and select Enable the power to bring the transmitter online. The field portion of the quest is then complete.

You will know the run worked when the quest tracker marks every objective complete right after the transmitter powers on. From here you can extract through a raider hatch or elevator, or surrender to drop straight back to Speranza.

Rewards and turn-in

Back in Speranza, speak to Celeste and claim the quest to collect both rewards. The mission clears from your log once she accepts the turn-in.

Looting Mk. 2 AugmentAugment

The Heavy Shield soaks up much of the damage aimed at you, but greatly limits mobility, and weighs 9. Looting Mk. 2 is an augment of blue rarity. You can’t equip both in one loadout, but collecting them at no cost preserves the resources you’d otherwise use to build them. Both are useful for the more difficult Frozen Trail objectives coming up.

Celeste is a survivor of the First Wave who now keeps Speranza running, and this quest is one of the chain she hands out looking back on the world before ARC. Finish it and she will have more work waiting.
