Elevator and subway extractions are loud, slow, and attract trouble. Raider Hatch Keys give you a faster, quieter exit. Here’s how to get one, what crafting requires, and the exact steps to use a hatch without wasting your key.
Buy Raider Hatch Keys from Shani (Speranza)
1Visit Speranza and speak with Shani, the Security Trader. Purchase a Raider Hatch Key for 9,000 Coins. This is the only reliable way to get a key during the current play period.
2Plan around the daily limit. Shani’s stock is restricted to one key per player per 24-hour period, so time your purchase for a run that matters.
3Move the key into your main backpack before deploying. You can keep it in your Safe Box between raids, but you must transfer it to your main inventory to activate a hatch.
Craft Raider Hatch Keys (when available)
1Install a Utility Workbench in your Speranza Workshop. This requires Arc Alloys and sets up the station you’ll need for key crafting.
2Collect the recipe materials during raids. The recipe calls for 1 Advanced Electrical Component and 3 Sensors, so start stockpiling them now.
3Upgrade the Utility Workbench to Level 2 to unlock the key recipe. Workbench upgrades are not accessible in the current playtest/server slam, so treat crafting as a future option and keep gathering materials.
1Carry the key in your main backpack. You cannot activate a hatch if the key is sitting in your Safe Box, so set your inventory before you leave Speranza.
2Open the map with M and pick a Raider Hatch icon that’s off common travel routes. Choosing a quieter approach reduces the chance of running into campers.
3Get to the hatch and interact with the mechanism to call the lift. Hatches arrive faster and make less noise than elevators or subways, which shortens your exposure time.
4Board immediately. The hatch remains open for about 15 seconds; if you hesitate or get distracted, it will close and the key will be consumed with no extraction.
Used well, a single Raider Hatch Key can turn a risky endgame sprint into a clean getaway. Buy one when it counts, carry it correctly, and don’t miss the 15-second window.
