The Deflated Football is an Uncommon Recyclable in Arc Raiders that turns up in homes, not in combat. It carries a Residential loot tag, which tells you exactly where to hunt for it, and it is tied to a quest that asks you to bring one back. If you are chasing it, the search is simple once you know which containers to pop and which maps give you the most residential buildings to clear.

Quick answer: Loot residential furniture — TV units, dressers, cabinets, drawers and suitcases — inside houses and apartments on Pendola Pass, Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City or Stella Montis, then extract with it in your backpack.

Deflated Football stats and recycling value

Before you run off collecting them, here is what a Deflated Football actually is and what it breaks down into. It stacks up to three, so you can carry a small pile without eating much space.

Recycling one in a Raider Den returns 9 Rubber Parts and 9 Fabric. Salvaging it on the surface instead gives 9 Rubber Parts. If you do not need it for a quest, that Rubber Parts yield is the main reason to hold onto it rather than sell it.

Where to find a Deflated Football

Footballs spawn in Residential loot, so any map with homes and apartments can drop one. Spawn points are random within those buildings, which means you are clearing furniture rather than walking to a fixed pickup. These maps give you the densest residential zones to work through.

Dam Battlegrounds is the gentlest option at difficulty 2, and its apartment blocks are packed with the right furniture. On Pendola Pass, the residential houses just north of Almatara Station and southwest of the Dispatch Tower are a reliable loop. Stella Montis sits at difficulty 4, so only dive there if you are comfortable with the extra heat.

Which containers to open

Inside those buildings, focus on domestic furniture. These are the containers that hold footballs:

  • TV units and the cabinets beneath old television sets
  • Chests of drawers, dressers and bedside tables
  • Closets and wardrobes
  • Kitchen cabinets and drawers
  • Suitcases and desks

How to loot a Deflated Football

Deploy into a map that has residential structures. Pendola Pass works well, and spawning close to the housing gives you first crack at the loot before other raiders arrive.
Head into a house or apartment and start searching the furniture. Watch for the yellow outline and the “E SEARCH” prompt on each interactive container.
Open the cabinet under an old television set, along with nearby drawers and nightstands. The Deflated Football shows up as an Uncommon Recyclable inside the container’s inventory.

Transfer the football into your backpack. You will know it worked when it appears in your inventory with its Recyclable tooltip and, if the quest is active, a “Tracked for quest” marker.

If a map is crowded and you keep getting shot up, move to the next residential building through a window rather than the main door, and keep clearing furniture until you find one.

Using the Deflated Football for The League

The main reason to track a football down is The League quest, where Apollo asks you to help set up a football team for the kids in Speranza. That request wants one Deflated Football alongside a Bicycle Pump, which shares the same Residential loot pools, so you can often grab both on a single run through an apartment block.

The Pale Apartments and Ruby Residence on Dam Battlegrounds are strong for both items, since bikes tend to have a pump nearby and the footballs sit on tables, beds and shelves. Once you have the football in hand, extract and return to Apollo to turn it in. Any spare footballs you pull can be recycled for Rubber Parts and Fabric instead of sold.
