Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced: Arroyos Collectibles Guide

Every collectible you can log on Arroyos, plus how the map reveals each one once you sync the viewpoint.

Arroyos is one of the smaller named locations in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, sitting inside the Castillo de Jagua region. It carries a compact set of collectibles, so a full clear here is quick once you know exactly what the island tracks.

Quick answer: Arroyos holds 8 trackable collectibles across 6 types — 1 Viewpoint, 1 Tavern, 2 Assassin Contracts, 1 Naval Contract, 3 Chests, and 1 Song Sheet. Sync the Viewpoint first to reveal every one of them on the map.

Every Arroyos collectible and count

The island’s completion tracker breaks down into six categories. There are no Mayan Stelae, animals, or hidden secrets logged on Arroyos, which keeps the checklist short.

Sync the Viewpoint to reveal the map

The single Viewpoint on Arroyos is the key to the whole island. Climbing and synchronizing it marks every other collectible here on your map, so there is no need to hunt blind. That covers the Tavern, both Assassin Contracts, the Naval Contract, all three Chests, and the Song Sheet.

You can confirm the sync worked when the surrounding icons appear on your map. On the map screen, press D-Pad Down to filter by collectible type if the icons feel cluttered. This lets you isolate Chests or the Song Sheet one category at a time.

What each collectible gives you

The Chests are the main reward pickup, dropping money and resources that help fund the Jackdaw’s upgrades. The Song Sheet adds a new shanty to your crew’s rotation. Assassin Contracts and the Naval Contract are optional side activities that hand out payment and additional rewards on completion. The Tavern acts as a social and recruitment hub rather than a one-time pickup.

Note: For trophies and achievements, only Chests and Song Sheets from islands like Arroyos feed into the wider collectible totals, but clearing the contracts is still worthwhile for the payouts.

Nothing on Arroyos is missable

Free-roam stays open after the story ends, and you can return to Arroyos at any point to finish its checklist. None of these collectibles lock out permanently. If an icon is not showing up, the usual cause is that you have not synced the island’s Viewpoint yet, since that is what places the markers on your map in the first place.

Sail into Arroyos once to unlock fast travel, tag the Viewpoint, then clear the three Chests and the Song Sheet before wrapping up the contracts. That order gets the island to full completion with the least backtracking.
