Jingran is a 5-star Fusion Main DPS who joined Wuthering Waves in the second phase of version 3.6. He fights with a Broadblade, but his damage does not scale off Attack like most carries. Instead, his numbers grow with Max HP, and his kit turns the shields he generates into stacking damage bonuses. Build him around HP, Crit, and shield uptime, and he hits hard through his Heavy Attacks.
Quick answer: Run the full Lamp of Nether Road set with Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis as the 4-cost main Echo, equip the Thousandfold Deliverance Broadblade, aim for roughly 50,000 Max HP with Crit main stats, and pair him with a shield-generating teammate plus a support.

Lamp of Nether Road is the only Echo set to run
The Lamp of Nether Road Sonata set is built for Jingran and outperforms every alternative. Two pieces give a flat HP boost, which feeds his scaling directly. The five-piece bonus is the real draw: gaining a shield grants Crit Rate that stacks, and once you reach maximum stacks you also pick up a Fusion DMG bonus.
| Piece bonus | Effect |
|---|---|
| 2-piece | HP +10% |
| 5-piece | Gaining a shield grants 5% Crit Rate for 5s, up to 4 stacks (20% total), refreshing every 0.5s. At max stacks, gain 15% Fusion DMG Bonus. |
The reason this set sits at maximum stacks with no help is his self-shield. His Inherent Skill refreshes a personal shield every half second while he deals damage, so the Crit Rate stays capped through his whole rotation. That free 20% Crit Rate lets you chase Crit DMG on your substats instead of splitting between both.
Main Echo: Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis
Slot Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis as your 4-cost main Echo. It deals Fusion damage based on Max HP, and in the main slot it grants both a Fusion DMG Bonus and a Heavy Attack DMG Bonus. Every line on it points at his core damage profile. This is also his ascension boss, so you will be farming the drop anyway.
Note: The Calamity Effigy Echo can fill your other 4-cost slot, but never place it in the main slot. Its bonus is Aero DMG, which does nothing for a Fusion carry.

Echo main stats, substats, and the 50,000 HP target
Use a 4-3-3-1-1 layout. Because his DEF is locked at zero and HP feeds his ATK conversion, his healing, and several Fusion DMG bonuses, you want HP% on the 3-cost slots rather than Fusion DMG Bonus.
| Slot | Main stat |
|---|---|
| 4-cost | Crit Rate or Crit DMG |
| 3-cost | HP% |
| 3-cost | HP% |
| 1-cost | HP% |
| 1-cost | HP% |
For substats, hit around 125% Energy Regen first so his rotation stays smooth. After that, prioritize Crit Rate and Crit DMG, then HP%, then Heavy Attack DMG Bonus, with ATK% and flat HP as filler.
Aim for roughly 50,000 Max HP. His HP scaling keeps paying out to about that point, and several of his effects share that ceiling. Falling well short of it costs real damage, so treat it as a genuine build target rather than a suggestion.

Best weapons for Jingran
His signature Broadblade, the Thousandfold Deliverance, is the clear best-in-slot. Its 72.2% HP secondary stat is what pushes him past the 50,000 HP breakpoint, and no other weapon replaces that HP value cleanly. It grants an All-Attribute DMG Bonus, stacks Crit DMG and Heavy Attack Crit Rate as he gains shields, and lets his Heavy Attacks ignore a chunk of enemy DEF.
| Weapon | Base ATK | Secondary | Why it works |
|---|---|---|---|
| Thousandfold Deliverance (signature) | 413 | 72.2% HP | Crit and All-Attribute DMG boosts, plus Heavy Attack DEF ignore. Reaches the HP breakpoint. |
| Thunderflare Dominion | 675 | 12.1% Crit Rate | Buffs ATK, grants Heavy Attack DMG after Intro/Resonance Skill, and adds DEF ignore through shields. |
| Verdant Summit | 588 | 48.6% Crit DMG | High Crit DMG stat with a stacking Heavy Attack DMG Bonus after Intro and Resonance Liberation. |
| Aureate Zenith (4-star) | 413 | Crit DMG | Battle Pass option; Resonance Liberation raises ATK and Heavy Attack DMG for his burst window. |
Other Broadblades such as Wildfire Mark, Radiance Cleaver, and Meditations on Mercy can be used in a pinch, but they perform noticeably worse than the signature because they miss its large HP contribution.

Skill upgrade priority
Forte Circuit carries the largest multipliers in his kit because his two core Heavy Attacks, Soul Raid and Stardome Meander, scale from it. Level that first, then move down the order below.
| Priority | Skill |
|---|---|
| 1 | Forte Circuit |
| 2 | Resonance Liberation |
| 3 | Resonance Skill |
| 4 | Basic Attack |
| 5 | Intro Skill |
Intro Skill sits last because its utility, converting Ghost Shroud and generating Qi, does not scale with its level. Only its small direct hit grows, so it is the safest talent to leave for later.

Best teams for Jingran
Jingran needs teammates who generate shields, since teammate shields feed the Ghost Shroud stacks that become his biggest Fusion DMG multiplier. A support that hands him Heavy Attack DMG, Crit, or Fusion DMG in the third slot rounds out the setup. His strongest partner is Iuno, whose kit shields on nearly every action.
- Jingran + Iuno + Shorekeeper (premium)
- Jingran + Iuno + Lupa
- Jingran + Lupa + Mornye
- Jingran + Shorekeeper + Lupa
- Jingran + Mortefi or Rebecca + Shorekeeper
Because Shorekeeper scales off HP rather than ATK, she slots neatly next to Jingran’s HP-based system while still supplying healing and universal buffs. Any character that pushes Heavy Attack DMG or reliable shields will feel at home on his side.
Once he is geared, you will know the build is working when his five-piece Crit Rate stacks stay capped during combat and his HP total reads near 50,000 on the details screen. Keep a shielder active, dump his Qi before Yinghuo ends, and his Heavy Attack windows deliver the bulk of your damage.
