Hsin is a 5-star Electro Rectifier who runs on Resonance Skill damage and swaps between two Resonance Modes, Unison and Electro Flare. You lock in only one mode for a fight, and that choice decides who belongs on the field with her. Electro Flare wants applicators and Negative Status support, while Unison wants partners who respond to the Unison mechanic.
Quick answer: For Electro Flare, run Hsin + Electro Rover + Suisui. For a premium Unison setup, run Hsin + Suoming + Shorekeeper. Electro Rover + Buling covers the budget slot.

Pick the mode before the team
Both modes let Hsin deal heavy Resonance Skill damage, so the mode you choose changes the supporting cast far more than it changes Hsin’s own build. Her best Echo set, Heart of Sworn Vigil, triggers from either playstyle, which means you do not need to re-farm gear when you switch. Only the teammates and rotation change.
- Electro Flare: Hsin continuously applies and triggers Electro Flare stacks, then converts them into her own damage. Pair her with Electro Flare applicators and Negative Status support.
- Unison: Hsin buffs every party member that responds to Unison, herself included, through rapid Intro and Outro swaps. Pair her with other Unison responders.

Electro Flare team: Hsin + Electro Rover + Suisui
This is Hsin’s strongest option the moment she releases, and it stays accessible for most accounts. Hsin sits as the main damage dealer, Electro Rover feeds the mode, and Suisui keeps everyone alive while widening the Negative Status ceiling.
| Slot | Character | Job |
|---|---|---|
| Main DPS | Hsin | Converts Electro Flare into damage |
| Sub-DPS | Electro Rover | Applies Electro Flare, shares Electro DMG Bonus |
| Support | Suisui | Heals, raises Negative Status cap |
Electro Rover has a unique link with Hsin. After his Intro Skill, both units gain an Electro DMG Bonus for 30 seconds, and he funnels ATK and All DMG Amplification to her while applying Electro Flare. His enhanced Resonance Skill and Resonance Liberation also add real damage of their own, so he is far more than a battery.
Suisui is the ideal healer here because her buffs are built around Negative Status, covering both Electro Flare and Electro Rage, and she shares healing across the whole team.
Support swaps if you lack Suisui
- Chisa: Similar to Suisui, raises the maximum Electro Flare stack count and heals the team, but adds rotation complexity.
- Buling: A 4-star pick who applies Electro Flare and buffs Resonance Skill DMG, which both Hsin and Electro Rover lean on. She does not heal.

Free-to-play team: Hsin + Electro Rover + Buling
If you want to run Electro Flare without a limited support, swap Suisui for Buling. Hsin and Electro Rover keep their mutual Electro DMG buff, and Rover still applies Electro Flare while handing Hsin ATK and All DMG Amplification. Buling then supplies a large Resonance Skill DMG buff that both damage dealers benefit from.
Buling is a 4-star, but she is not fully free. You still need to pull her from the banner pool to fill this healer slot.
Unison team: Hsin + Suoming + Shorekeeper
Unison is the swap-heavy route, where Hsin sets up her attacks, hands off through her Outro, and repeats Intro Skills across the rotation. Suoming is the standout partner for this because her kit is built around the same mechanic.
Suoming can enter Unison mode after casting her Liberation and keeps dealing damage from off-field. Her Outro grants Electro DMG Amplification and adds a Resonance Skill DMG buff to a Unison Boon holder, which lines up directly with how Hsin scales. She is currently the only sub-DPS that responds to Unison.
Shorekeeper anchors the support slot with healing, Crit support, and damage amplification, keeping the team stable through Hsin’s longer setup windows. Verina works as a substitute if you do not have Shorekeeper. A new Unison healer, Lily, is expected in Version 3.8 for players who want to build fully around the system.
Suoming is not available at Hsin’s launch, so this premium Unison comp comes together only once Suoming’s own banner is live.

Dual DPS Unison team: Hsin + Jinhsi + Shorekeeper
Pairing two main carries looks odd, but Hsin and Jinhsi both use the Unison mechanic, which makes a dual DPS setup viable. The rotation feels smooth because each character feeds the other.
- Hsin: Provides coordinated attacks through her Edict mechanic that help charge Jinhsi’s Forte and stack Incandescence.
- Jinhsi: Delivers high Liberation burst and supplies Unison for Hsin to gain extra damage.
- Shorekeeper: Heals, adds Crit support, and amplifies damage; Verina can fill in.
The catch is that Jinhsi only grants Unison and cannot respond to it herself, so she never triggers the Unison damage buffs. That makes this a flexible pairing for players who own both characters rather than Hsin’s absolute peak comp.

Hsin as a sub-DPS for Augusta
Hsin does not have to lead a team. Her flexible Outro Skill lets her amplify Augusta’s Electro DMG by 20% for 20 seconds while in Electro Flare mode, turning her into an Electro-specific buffer that still applies Electro Flare and contributes solid damage. In this build, Augusta carries as the main DPS with Shorekeeper on support and Hsin sitting in the sub-DPS slot.
Whichever direction you take, the deciding factor is always the Resonance Mode. Lock Electro Flare when you have applicators like Electro Rover and Buling, and lean into Unison once Suoming and other Unison responders are on your roster. Hsin keeps the same weapon and Echo setup across both, so switching comps is a matter of teammates and rotation, not a full rebuild.
