Black Ops 7: Dravakar Temple Cleansing and Laser Puzzle Guide

Light the hammer, crush the offering, then hit Dravakar's forehead while it rains.

Light the hammer, crush the offering, then hit Dravakar’s forehead while it rains.

Cleansing Dravakar’s temple on Rex Infernus is a long lock in the middle of the main quest. The map does not accept a single switch flip. You need a hidden hammer, a crushed zombie, a chamber laser that has to sit on one wall tile, and weather that only arrives on cue.

Quick answer: Craft nothing new here. Pick up the Blacksmith’s Hammer, light it with Astral Flame, send the marked zombie into the Titan Trap, feed the raised laser dial until the southeast wall breaks, then throw Astral Flame at Dravakar’s forehead while it is raining.

Gear required for the Dravakar cleanse

Do not start this sequence until the tools below are already in your kit. The laser dial and the outdoor orb both demand a charged Warden’s Blight shot, so the wonder weapon has to be finished first.

ItemRole in the cleanse
Void TalonOpens the three Nexus Forge cranks that steer the blue beam
Void ClawGets you into Dravakar Inner Sanctum and pulls purple orbs
Shatter Blast Ammo ModBreaks the four corner shields that hide the hammer
Warden’s BlightRaises the chamber dial and lifts the orb under Dravakar’s head
Armor PlatesRe-plates on the stone plate until the dial is revealed
Astral FlameLights the hammer brazier and delivers the final fireball
Light MendHelps kill the four Shadow Souls after the wall opens

The Inner Sanctum is the same anvil room used to forge Warden’s Blight. If you cannot grapple into that space yet, you are still on an earlier quest beat.

Aim the Nexus Forge beam into Dravakar

The temple will not accept the hammer until the forge is already feeding Dravakar a blue laser. That beam is steered from the three cranks you unlocked with the Void Talon.

Return to the Nexus Forge and use those three cranks. Each crank changes where the forge laser is pointing, so treat them as a single aiming rig rather than three separate toys.
Keep rotating until the blue beam leaves the forge and enters Dravakar’s mouth. Stop as soon as that mouth shot is locked. Later crank work for Astral Flame will reuse this same hub, so do not leave the area messy.

Blacksmith’s Hammer and Titan offering

The hammer is not sitting on a pedestal. It is sealed behind one of four shields in Dravakar Inner Sanctum, and only a Shatter Blast kill at point-blank range will open the right one.

Open The Arsenal and put Shatter Blast on your gun. Leave the mod on until every shield is down. A normal kill will not break the glass.
Take a Void Claw and grapple into Dravakar Inner Sanctum. You want the anvil room, not the lower Main Chamber.

Pull a zombie in front of a corner shield and trigger Shatter Blast as it dies. The zombie has to drop from that activation while it is standing directly against the shield. Repeat on each corner until one shield gives up the Blacksmith’s Hammer.
Drop into Dravakar’s Main Chamber and seat the hammer in the stone brazier. Leave it there. The next fire has to come from the forge, not from a random molotov.
Back at the Nexus Forge, hook a purple orb into the Pack-a-Punch with the Void Claw. Turn the cranks until the forge braziers hold Astral Flame, grab a flame, and throw it at the hammer brazier. The brazier stays lit and a blue mist jumps into a nearby zombie.
Escort that misted zombie to Caltheris Passage. Buy the Titan Trap while the zombie is standing in the middle of the trap. It should sprint into the Titan’s gauntlet and get crushed. A Dravakar quote is the check that the offering landed.

If the shield never cracks, the kill was not a Shatter Blast death on the glass. If the Titan ignores the zombie, the mist never attached or the trap was bought while the zombie was still outside the pad.

Laser dial puzzle in Dravakar’s Main Chamber

The offering only unlocks the next machine. In front of the central pillar is a stone tablet that starts a dial you have to lift, nudge, and feed with souls.

Interact with the tablet on the floor. A stone plate sits with it. That plate is the switch for the next reveal.

Stand on the plate and keep applying Armor Plates. Enough re-plating lifts the stone and exposes the dial. Stop plating once the dial is visible.
Shoot the dial with a charged Warden’s Blight shot so it rises into the air. An uncharged bolt will not lift it.
Shoot the central ring of the dial in small clicks until the beam hits the southeast upper wall of Dravakar’s Main Chamber. The beam has to sit on that exact wall mark. Large swings will overshoot it.

Kill zombies under the raised dial so their souls travel up the beam. Keep the train in that footprint until the wall cracks and a stone head shows through.
Shoot the stone head. Four Shadow Souls peel off into the chamber. They are weak to Light Mend and Warden’s Blight.
Clear all four souls. Use the minimap and their audio cues if one hides in a corner. The statue will not finish while a soul is still up.
Shoot the stone statue and destroy it. That is the last indoor trigger before you take the ritual outside.

Rain fireball that finishes the Dravakar cleanse

The last beat happens at Dravakar Entrance, not in the chamber. You are lining up a purple orb, waiting on rain, and throwing one fireball at a small mark on the forehead.

Grab the Void Claw and pull a purple orb so it rests directly under Dravakar’s head outside Dravakar Entrance. Park it under the chin, not off to the side.
Hit that orb with a charged Warden’s Blight shot. The orb rises and Dravakar’s eyes glow. If the eyes stay dark, the orb was not under the head.
Check the weather. If the map is dry, go to Veytharion Sanctuary and interact with the blue well in the room from the blocks puzzle. Rain arrives on the next round.
When it is raining, take Astral Flame from the Nexus Forge and throw the fireball at Dravakar’s forehead. The hit box is a tight mark on the brow, not the whole face.

Lightning on the statue is the completion check. The temple is cleansed when that strike lands. A dry map, a missed brow, or an orb that never rose will leave the head unchanged.

Once Dravakar is clean, the same ritual pattern continues on the remaining temples. Keep Warden’s Blight and a Void Claw on you. The later sites reuse the forge flame and the purple orbs, just not this hammer or this southeast dial.
