Prison Island in the First Sea hides one of the Island Secrets added with Blox Fruits Update 30, and it is one of the quickest to finish once you know where to look. The Jail Keeper wants three escaped prisoners brought back, and each one is hiding in a completely different part of the fortress — one in the grass, one deep inside the walls, and one already halfway out to sea.
Quick answer: Defeat the Escaped Prisoner digging by a tree in the left courtyard, the one in the interior room beside the cracked wall, and the one on the wooden raft against the outer sea wall, then speak to the Jail Keeper in the courtyard to close the secret.
What the Prison Island secret is
Island Secrets are hidden objectives spread across the reworked First Sea islands. Each completed secret awards a star, and collecting all 40 across the sea unlocks the Teleporter in Middle Town. Rewards from individual secrets include money, EXP, gems, and stat points.
The Prison version is a capture task. Three Escaped Prisoners are actively trying to break out of the fortress, and the Jail Keeper — the same NPC who hands out the standard Prisoner quests — asks you to stop all three. These Escaped Prisoners are not the regular Lv. 190 Prisoner or Dangerous Prisoner enemies that spawn between the walls. They are unique, single spawns tied to the secret, each with their own dialogue.
Prison sits west of Fountain City and hosts content for players around levels 190 to 250, so bring a build that can clear enemies at that tier comfortably. You can reach it by boat from the surrounding islands in the Blox Fruits experience on Roblox.

All three spawn points are fixed. Two are on foot, and the third sits outside the inner keep against the perimeter wall, so some form of flight or a Blox Fruit with air mobility saves a lot of time.
| Prisoner | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Digging escapee | Main grassy courtyard, to the left of the entrance gate, crouched at a hole next to a tree |
| Wall breaker | Inside the prison corridors, in the room next to the cracked section of wall |
| Raft builder | On a small wooden raft floating against the outer sea wall, on the shoreline side of the fortress |
How to capture each prisoner

How to confirm the secret has been completed
Two on-screen cues confirm your progress. The first is the running tally, which ticks from 1 / 3 up to 3 / 3 as each Escaped Prisoner falls. The second is the prompt that appears after the third kill: “All prisoners captured! Speak to the Jail Keeper.” If that line has not shown up, one of the three is still alive somewhere on the island.
Note: the tally only counts the three unique Escaped Prisoners. Killing the standard Prisoners and Dangerous Prisoners that patrol the wooden platforms between the inner and outer walls does nothing for this objective, even though they look similar.
Common reasons the secret does not progress
- You accepted the prisoner’s offer to help instead of turning him down, so the fight never started. Re-approach and choose the refusal line.
- You backed out of the dialogue with “Nevermind” and walked away, leaving the prisoner untouched.
- You only searched the courtyard and the interior. The third spawn is outside the keep, down at the outer sea wall, and is easy to miss on foot.
- You farmed the regular Prisoner enemies between the walls instead of the three named escapees.
The whole run takes a couple of minutes once the three spawns are memorized, which makes Prison one of the faster stars to bank while you work toward the full set of 40 across the First Sea.
