The Dog Blade is a limited-time sword in Blox Fruits that never appeared in shops, quests, or crafting menus. It exists only as a possible prize tied to the Doghouse Event, a special encounter that developers trigger for everyone on a server. Getting it depends on two things happening in order. You have to finish the event, and then luck has to fall in your favor.

Quick answer: Join an active Doghouse Event, clear every wave and boss to finish it, collect the Love Letter reward, and open it for a random chance at the Dog Blade. It is not guaranteed on any single Love Letter.

What the Dog Blade is

The Dog Blade is an exclusive event weapon. Unlike swords you buy from an NPC or unlock by completing normal quests, this one is locked behind the Doghouse Event and its reward roll. Because the event runs only when developers host it, the blade is not something you can grind for at any time.

The weapon also comes with skin options. A Dog Blade Configurator lets you switch between the “Dog” skin, which uses a green blade with a gold hilt, and the “Rabid” skin, which uses a silver blade with a black hilt.

How to get the Dog Blade step by step

Be on a server when a Doghouse Event starts. An administrator sets it off with a global announcement banner before pulling participating players into a special instance shaped like a giant red doghouse.

Fight through every stage inside the doghouse. The instance fills with enemies across multiple waves that you must clear before the bosses appear.

Defeat the bosses to finish the event. The encounter chains through powerful raid bosses, including the Gorilla King and a Dragon, before the main boss, Original Indra, spawns with the highest health pool.

Collect your completion rewards. Clearing the event grants one level if you are not already at max, the Grounded title, and one Love Letter.

Open the Love Letter. It works like opening a gift or spinning a reward animation, and it pulls one prize from a pool. The Dog Blade is one of those possible prizes.
