Relics and weapons found in Holy Innocents' Cemetery in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse

Holy Innocents’ Cemetery, an area of the City of Paris, contains four Mirrors of Life. The Ossuary of the Innocents holds the area’s Ferryman’s Wharf and is where you fight Medusa. Every Secret Area, breakable wall, chest, keepsake, Heart Fragment, ATK UP and DEF UP book, and Mirror of Life is listed below by sub-area, following the order you encounter them on the main path.

Quick answer: The area holds 20 Secret Areas, 4 breakable walls, 4 Mirrors of Life, 4 relics, 3 weapons, 2 keepsakes, 3 Brave and 3 Wise Heart Fragments, 2 ATK UP and 2 DEF UP books, 15 XP statues and 3 whole meat.

Every Secret Area, chest and pickup in this guide is marked on the Holy Innocents’ Cemetery interactive map.

How secret areas open in Holy Innocents’ Cemetery

The game’s own tutorial card “Secret Areas” reads: “Some secret areas are hidden behind walls. Look out for the visual and audio clues.” Secrets open in four ways. A hidden passage is a false wall that Rose walks straight through. A breakable wall is a cracked section you hit with your weapon until it breaks. A lever gate is a gate in front of the secret that a lever opens. A smash floor is a floor you break with Smash, and thicker ones need a high fall first, as the Stomp tutorial explains: “The Stomp has several power levels that activate depending on the distance travelled during the fall. If Rose jumps high enough, she can break thicker destructible objects!”

The relic Gloomstone “Gives a hint when Rose is close to a secret.” and is found in the Master’s Quarters, which the relics guide covers. You can also leave a marker to come back later. The map tutorial reads: “Placing a MARKER on a secret or an unreachable location allows you to return to it later.” The marker button is Square on PlayStation and Space on PC.

Hit the golden XP statues a few times with the whip to shatter them; each one awards 150 XP. Whole meat restores all of Rose’s missing health. Collect four Brave Heart Fragments for one maximum-health upgrade, or four Wise Heart Fragments to raise maximum mana. The ATK UP and DEF UP books permanently raise ATK or DEF by +1.
