Once it opens, you drop into a lava pool with a chicken statue named Priscilla and a sacrifice bowl guarded by four pillars, each one holding a separate ritual to solve.

Where the mysterious well is located
The well sits in the spooky forest area. Use the purple portal with the padlock on it as your landmark, since that locked portal stands out and is hard to walk past. From the portal, head up the hill to your left and the well is right there. Anchoring to the portal saves you from wandering the map looking for it.
How to open the well
Drop 666 gold into the well. The clue for this is drawn inside the well as a pentagram surrounded by coin imagery, which is easy to miss if you glance past it. Feeding it food or crops does nothing, so ignore the temptation to throw in eggs or chicken meat.
Note: The 666 must be gold currency, not Gold Wood. Gold Wood is a separate crafting material that you will need later as a ritual ingredient, so don’t confuse the two when you are picking what to hold.

Where to get Raw Duck
For the Mount Duckmore ritual, look up and to the left of the lab area toward the mountain range. That is the most reliable spot. Some players have also found ducks out in the distance behind Sir Island.
Where to get Gold Wood
Gold Wood comes from the Void Portal area where the cult ducks are. You do not gamble for it. There is a second Portal Door underneath the first rock, on the opposite side from where you entered. It leads to a set of floating rocks carrying more resources, and it is easy to overlook, so check that side carefully.
How to get more Golden Eggs
If you sold all your Golden Eggs and the Demonic Chicken ritual is now blocked, the Egg + Gold Wood ritual is your fix. It is the only repeatable ritual of the four, and it drops a Golden Egg into your inventory every time you have the materials.
The black chickens from the Demonic Chicken ritual add another supply. Leave them alive and they keep laying Golden Eggs out in the world. Kill one and it drops 3 chicken legs, while the ritual only costs 2 Grilled Chicken Legs, so culling them can pay the ritual back and then some. Some players also report ordinary chickens dropping Golden Eggs on their own. Those two behaviors are player reports rather than confirmed mechanics, so test one chicken before you clear a whole flock.

Does ritual order matter? No. Drop ingredients into the sacrifice bowl in any order. The bowl consumes only what a ritual needs, so overfilling it does not waste anything.
Demonic Chicken not triggering? Confirm you have 2 Grilled Chicken Legs and a Golden Egg sitting in the bowl, then leave and re-enter the altar area. At least one player hit this exact issue while the other three rituals worked fine, and re-entering cleared it.
