Unlock requirements

The quest becomes available after completing Slaying the Hero Holly, which itself unlocks during the Vanquishing the Heroes storyline. Once you defeat Hero Holly the Reaper and obtain Camilo’s Remnants, Holly’s Faded Bond appears at the Withered Greenhouse in the Undead Forest. Interact with this bond to begin the timeline shift.

Collecting Camilo’s Remnants

From the Withered Greenhouse in the Present timeline, interact with the Time Jump portal to trigger a cutscene with Lou. Turn around and speak with Monica to learn about Camilo’s pathos.

Follow the ray of light northwest toward the Ruined Town. Make your way to the center and defeat the nurse enemy, wielding a hammer. This drops Camilo’s Remnant II and triggers a flashback sequence. Exit through the door at the end of the flashback.

Follow the ray of light northeast toward the Sanatorium. Head to the fountain area and defeat the patient enemy wielding twin blades. This grants Camilo’s Remnant I and starts another flashback. Complete the flashback and finish the dialogue with Lou and Monica.

Restoring the Faded Bond

Return to the Withered Greenhouse with both remnants to restore Camilo’s fading bond. This initiates a time jump into Camilo’s frenzy. Interact with the monument to receive a trial from the Progenitor Idris.

Proceed deeper into the area to encounter the Retainer of Idris, a mmini-bossni boss that blocks your path back to Holly’s era. After defeating this outer world boss, walk to the next room and interact with the monument to complete the time jump.

Confronting Camilo Asturias

Fast travel to the Sanatorium to meet Holly in her office. The conversation gets interrupted by sounds from Camilo’s room. Take the elevator to investigate.

Follow the signs of destruction to pursue the frenzied Camilo. Descend through the hole in the lobby to reach a lower floor and the underground facility beneath the Sanatorium. Exit toward the floating island filled with family memories.

Complete the bridges and pathways leading to the westernmost island. Here you encounter Camilo Asturias as a mini-boss. You fight him within a memory, navigating a ruined version of the Sanatorium while connecting bridges and pathways to reach his boss room. Defeating Camilo triggers cutscenes that unlock Holly as a permanent partner.

Final confrontation with Hero Holly

Return to the Present, where Monica asks you to save Holly permanently. Holly’s cocoon transfers to the Sanatorium. Speak with Camilo for more context, then interact with the glowing item on the counter to trigger a flashback and obtain Lise’s Hair Ornament.

Head outside the Sanatorium and interact with the cocoon to initiate the final boss fight against Hero Holly. This is the main boss encounter for the questline and completes the Timeline Shift Decision Holly quest upon victory.

Quest rewards

Completing Timeline Shift Decision Holly grants several valuable items. You receive the Luxuria Bloodline: Camilo blood code, Idris’s Talon weapon, the Lost Camilo item, Monica’s Music Box, and Lise’s Hair Ornament.
