The Aniilog is the in-game index that records every Aniimo you catch or hatch while exploring Idyll. It assigns each creature a number, an element, and a combat role, and it tracks how much of your collection you have completed. If you want a single reference for the whole roster, the numbered list below covers it.
Quick answer: The Aniilog holds 91 unique Aniimo species — 82 from Breezy Plains and 9 added in Season 1 — rising to 206 total entries once every regional and rare form is counted.

How many Aniimo are in the game
The species count and the “counting every form” count are two different numbers, which is why totals vary depending on how you slice them.
- 82 Aniimo are native to the Breezy Plains region.
- 9 new species arrived with Season 1.
- 91 unique species appear in the Aniilog in total.
- 206 entries exist once every form and variant is counted separately.
- 2 Legendary Aniimo are currently available: Somniwing and Irisalis.

Each row lists an Aniimo’s index number, its element (dual-element species use a slash), and its combat role. Season 1 additions keep their own high numbers, and a dash marks a role that is not yet fixed for that entry.

Lunara and Helion are the two starter companions, so one of them joins your roster at the beginning of the story rather than being caught in the wild.
Elements and combat roles
Every Aniimo carries at least one element and one combat role, and some carry two elements. These are the categories used across the whole roster.
- Elements: Holy, Fire, Ice, Dark, Electric, Grass, Water, Rock, and Wind.
- Combat roles: DPS, Heal, Support, Break, Regen, and Energy.
Dual-element Aniimo, such as Inferlupa (Dark/Fire) or Lavazar (Fire/Rock), draw on both types in battle. The role determines the job the Aniimo does on a team, from dealing damage to healing, breaking enemy defenses, or restoring resources.
Regional forms and rare variants
The jump from 91 species to 206 entries comes from the extra forms each species can take. The same creature can look and behave differently depending on where you find it and the conditions you meet.
- Regional forms change an Aniimo’s appearance and sometimes its element. Emberpup, for example, appears as Highland Emberpup and Mountain Woods Emberpup in different areas.
- Prismana forms are the rarer, combat-relevant variants that can appear when the Prismana flows.
- Umbral and Legendary Aniimo turn up through Wild Surges or by using a Legendary Aniipod.

Emberpup evolution line
Flameruff is the Stage 2 Fire form that grows from Emberpup and can branch into two Stage 3 evolutions. Reaching level 20 and defeating the Alpha Scorchhowl with a Blaze Stone turns it into Scorchhowl, while a Night Stone paired with six Unbroken Flameruff Spirit turns it into Inferlupa. It roams Nimbus Fields, The Argent Strait, Echoback Landing, and Beast Fang Ridge.

Scorchhowl is the combat-focused Stage 3 evolution of Flameruff, built as a Fire DPS with the highest attack in this branch. You find it on Beast Fang Ridge.

Inferlupa is the alternate Stage 3 evolution, a Dark/Fire Break unit driven by a strong break attack. It comes from a Flameruff that lost its fight and absorbed the souls of fallen companions.

Flutternym evolution line
Flutternym is a Stage 1 Wind healer that evolves into Gracewing at level 21 with a Gust Stone. It has the widest spawn range in this group, appearing in Nimbus Fields, The Mistwoods, Blitzwood, and the Sea of Flowers.

Gracewing is the Stage 3 Wind healer that Flutternym becomes, and it carries the highest HP of any Aniimo in this set, which suits its support-heavy kit.

Other Stage 3 forms
Stellarys is a Dark DPS that evolves from Celestis and posts the highest attack in this table. It prefers solitude and appears in the Forest of Falling Stars.

Shrubclaw is a Rock/Grass Break form that evolves from Budclaw. Its defense is the highest in this group, reflecting its heavy, plant-covered shell. Look for it in Berylline Vale.

Flamerion is a Fire Aniimo in the Energy role, evolving from Sparki. Its body is made of gaseous energy, letting it split and create clones, and it appears only at night on Beast Fang Ridge.

Thornblade is a Grass DPS that evolves from Budsquire. It wields swords formed from thorny stems and turns up in the Sea of Flowers.

Fragrancier is a Dark Support form that evolves from Dewy. It gathers and stores nectar to craft perfume ingredients, and it shares the Sea of Flowers habitat.

To check your own progress against this list, open the Aniilog in-game, where each recorded species updates your collection percentage. When the counter climbs toward its total, you know the entries you have caught, hatched, or evolved are logged, and the remaining numbers show exactly which Aniimo you still need to track down.
