Control Resonant: Every Correct Karaoke Answer in The Party Won’t Stop

Reach the rooftop apartment in the West Incursion Zone and pick the nine rhyming lyrics that free the trapped dancers.

Reach the rooftop apartment in the West Incursion Zone and pick the nine rhyming lyrics that free the trapped dancers.

The Party Won’t Stop is a side story in Control Resonant that sends Dylan into a locked apartment block in the West Incursion Zone, where an Altered karaoke machine is forcing a group of civilians to dance without rest. The only way to break the curse is to step up to the machine and sing the song through to the end. Every lyric choice matters, because a wrong word kills one of the dancers on the spot.

Quick answer: Always pick the lyric that rhymes with the machine’s last word. In order, the nine correct choices are Gasoline, Stress, So fleeting, Too long, Move, Fear, Everything, Higher and higher, and Shout.

Where to find The Party Won’t Stop in the West Incursion Zone

The quest is in the western section of the West Incursion Zone, marked on your map as Singing Reported?. At the site, you’ll see an apartment block filled with loud music, violet light shining from its windows, and a body beside the main entrance. Deal with the nearby Mold enemies to clear your way in.

The front door is locked from the inside, so you cannot walk in. Access is through the roof, which means you need the Shift (or Reach) ability first. Wrap up the West Incursion Zone Resonant quest, including the Incursion Fault, to have that traversal ability ready.

Getting onto the rooftop

Use the radio to tell Zoe about the dead civilian beside the locked door. This verifies the quest and directs you to investigate the music’s source.
Cross to the street directly opposite the apartment building. Use Shift or Reach to lift yourself up onto the elevated road.
Keep along the road until a construction site comes into view on your right. Go inside, then turn right; you can fight the enemies there or slip past them.
Jump, activate Elevate, and land on the apartment rooftop to the west. Report the additional bodies on the roof to Zoe if you want the extra dialogue, then head through the blue door.
Go down several flights of stairs, watching for a doorway to your left marked by purple neon. A group of people inside is dancing against their will. Talk with the weary dancers to start the singing objective.

Every correct karaoke lyric and input

Start by interacting with the karaoke machine. One choice appears at first; later, up to four words are displayed, with a brief timer for each selection. For every prompt, match the machine’s final lyric to an option with a rhyming sound. A chorus plays partway through, and you don’t need to respond.

The first line resolves as "It's burning hot like gasoline" — pick "…gasoline" to open the song correctly. Shown at 01:54 in Game Guides Channel’s video. Image: Remedy Entertainment

To earn the achievement, you cannot make even one error. Choosing an incorrect word kills a partygoer on the spot, so keep an eye on the timer and select the rhyming answer each time.

The second prompt pits "…stress" against "…work" — "…stress" is the rhyming answer. Shown at 02:04 in Game Guides Channel’s video. Image: Remedy Entertainment

Rewards and the Be What You Want to Be achievement

When the song finishes, a Quest Completed banner appears and the rewards drop regardless of how many dancers survived. You receive the Untapped Bar Blade artifact, the Varsity Jacket top layer suit, and a Talent Point +1. The Untapped Bar Blade grants + Survival and slowly regenerates health while a Summon is nearby.

The third choice offers "…so short" and "…so fleeting" — go with "…so fleeting.". Shown at 02:14 in Game Guides Channel’s video. Image: Remedy Entertainment

The bonus reward is the Be What You Want to Be achievement; it unlocks only if all the partygoers survive. Get all nine rhymes right, and it should pop shortly after the last word. If any dancer dies during the song, you won’t earn it; reload your latest checkpoint and play through the sequence again. No other achievement in the game is missable.

After the chorus, the fifth prompt lists "…move," "…dance," "…party," and "…live" — pick "…move.". Shown at 03:09 in Game Guides Channel’s video. Image: Remedy Entertainment

Once the party is over, you can question a surviving partygoer to learn where the machine came from. Select the dialogue options to hear that Greg picked up the karaoke machine at a police auction for his farewell party, at which point Dylan warns everyone not to touch it again.
