Factory Station is one of the subway stops Dylan Faden brings back online during the “Power Lines” mission in Control Resonant, Remedy’s 2026 follow-up to Control. It works as the opening beat of a longer power-routing job that runs across Central, and the footage from the third playthrough segment shows exactly what the stop asks of you before the mission spreads out to the other stations.
Quick answer: Factory Station is a Power Lines objective where you carry the station’s loose power cores onto the marked yellow floor pads and activate the central console; the objective then updates to “Head to the Surface.”
What the Factory Station reroute is in Power Lines
“Power Lines” begins when Dylan speaks with security chief Simon Arish at Field Command in Central. Arish briefs him on the Cancellation Field Device, or CFD, built by Emily Pope to push back the Hiss. That device needs power, and the grid runs through a set of subway stations that have to be switched back on one at a time.
The mission tracks four separate reroute objectives under the same quest:
- Reroute Factory Station
- Reroute Perimeter Station
- Reroute East Park Station
- Reroute the Vanished Station
Factory Station is the first of these, and it sets the pattern for the ones that follow. Each stop uses the same idea of feeding loose power units into terminals to complete a circuit, so clearing Factory Station teaches the routine you repeat later at East Park, Perimeter, and the Mold-covered Vanished Station.

The station marker appears in yellow on the Central map, near the Patterned Factory and the park checkpoint. The route runs out from the Field Office along the main road toward the industrial sector, past a street stretch flagged as a minefield with floating red explosive drones to avoid.

Rather than turning into the factory itself, the path continues alongside its wall toward a visible wall of Mold in the distance. The station entrance sits at the crossroads at the end of that wall, marked by a green-lit stairway down into the concourse.

How the power reroute plays out
Inside the station, the reroute is a short power-routing task. Several loose power cores sit around the concourse and platform, and the platform floor is marked with yellow squares that act as receiver pads. One core waits in an open shop kiosk near the ticket barriers, while others are tucked around the platform and the train tracks.

Dylan carries each core down to the platform and drops it onto one of the yellow pads. The goal is simply to fill every marked square so the circuit connects across the platform. Some cores are reached by vaulting over the parked train car or dropping onto the tracks.

With every pad filled, Dylan uses the central console on the platform. Pulling the lever sends an energy surge through the grid that briefly drops him to his knees in pain as his handler, Zoe, speaks over the radio. That reaction is scripted and marks the reroute as done rather than a hazard to avoid.

The same console layout recurs at the other Power Lines stops, so the tall control terminal seen here is the piece you look for at every station.

How you know the reroute worked
Once the console fires, the quest text changes to “Head to the Surface,” which confirms Factory Station is rerouted. Dr. Mia Florez also broadcasts a distress call over the station intercom, and it is worth answering the intercom before you leave, since her messages carry through the rest of Power Lines as she and the survivors wait to be reached.
The Mold that spreads through the later stations conducts electricity, so at those stops the circuit can route through Mold clusters as well as the floor pads. Factory Station is the clean, introductory version before that complication arrives at the Vanished Station.
With the surface objective active, the mission points you back up into Central toward the remaining reroutes, ending with the Vanished Station rescue that closes out Power Lines and hands Dylan a Living Shard.
