Crafting Every Popcorn Bucket in Dreamlight Parks Fest (Disney Dreamlight Valley)

Every Button type, each bucket recipe, and how to clear the Popcorn Enthusiast duty fast.

Every Button type, each bucket recipe, and how to clear the Popcorn Enthusiast duty fast.

Popcorn Buckets are commemorative furniture items tied to the Dreamlight Parks Fest event in Disney Dreamlight Valley, each modeled after the real popcorn buckets sold at Disney parks. There are seven to unlock in total, and you build them at a Crafting Station using Buttons collected during the event. They are purely decorative, but making them is the core of the Popcorn Enthusiast duty.

Quick answer: Gather the required Buttons, craft any of the buckets at a Crafting Station, then place any five of them in the Valley to complete the Popcorn Enthusiast duty and earn a Disney Park Map.

Button types and where to get them

Every bucket recipe asks for Buttons, and each style needs a different mix of colors and amounts. Because totals climb quickly, it helps to farm all five Button types as you go rather than chasing one bucket at a time.

Button typeHow to get it
Blue ButtonsFish from the white circles at Dazzle Beach and the Peaceful Meadow.
Flower ButtonsForage flowers with a yellow center in the Peaceful Meadow and the Plaza.
Green ButtonsFinish Daily and Weekly Dreamlight Parks Fest quests from characters.
Purple ButtonsCraft at a Crafting Station with one Blue Button, two Red Buttons, and 100 Dreamlight.
Red ButtonsPick them up off the ground near houses and paths across the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Dazzle Beach, Frosted Heights, Sunlit Plateau, Glade of Trust, Forest of Valor, and the Forgotten Lands.

Note: Purple Buttons are the bottleneck since they cost other Buttons plus Dreamlight to make. Crafting them in bulk also progresses the Button Maker duty, which rewards the Retro Magic Kingdom Map once you produce 20 Purple Buttons.

Popcorn Bucket recipes

Once you have enough Buttons, head to any Crafting Station and build the buckets from the menu. Five of them follow set recipes shown below. Two additional buckets were added in 2025 and arrive as quest rewards rather than crafted items, so you unlock those by completing the event quests they are tied to.

Complete the Popcorn Enthusiast duty

Stock up on Buttons until you can afford at least five buckets. Aim for plenty of Green Buttons from event quests and a steady supply of Purple Buttons from the Crafting Station.
Open a Crafting Station and craft any five Popcorn Buckets using the recipes above. The station shows the exact Button counts you still need for each one.
Place all five crafted buckets as decorations anywhere in the Valley. The Popcorn Enthusiast duty registers once they are set down, not just sitting in your inventory.

You know it worked when the Popcorn Enthusiast duty in the Village Dreamlight menu marks complete and hands over a Disney Park Map. This map is a separate furniture item from the Magic Kingdom Map awarded by the Sweet Samaritan duty, so you can display both. If the duty does not tick over, the usual cause is leaving the buckets in storage instead of placing them in the world.

From there, you can keep crafting the remaining buckets to round out the full set of seven, including the two unlocked through event quests. Each finished bucket doubles as decor, so spreading them around the Valley is a tidy way to show off your Parks Fest progress.
