Smoglett is the reward creature tied to the Fireworks Event Week 2 in Creatures of Sonaria. It is a Tier 2 Glider with a herbivorous diet, built around poison pressure, evasion, and high survivability. You earn it by clearing a short set of event missions rather than pulling it from a gacha.

Quick answer: Grow two Tier 2 or higher gliders to Age 200, live through Crackling Sky weather twice, spin the Galaxy Explorer gacha twice, and launch 20 fireworks. Finishing all four adds Smoglett to your creature list.

Fireworks Event Week 2 missions to unlock Smoglett

Smoglett unlocks only after every one of the four event tasks is complete. They can be worked on in any order, and the Mission tab tracks your progress on each.

  • Grow two Tier 2 or higher glider species to Age 200. Grow Tokens and combat logging do not count toward this.
  • Experience the Crackling Sky weather twice.
  • Spin the Galaxy Explorer gacha twice.
  • Launch 20 fireworks.

The glider-to-Age-200 task is the slowest step because you have to reach adulthood on two separate gliders and keep aging past the usual 100 cap. Plan the other three around normal play while those creatures mature.

How to confirm it worked: once all four tasks show as complete in the Mission tab, Smoglett is granted to your account and appears in your stored creature list. If it does not unlock, the usual reason is that one of the growth attempts used a Grow Token or was interrupted by combat logging, which the game does not credit.

Smoglett stats

Smoglett is fast on the ground and glides well, with a large health pool for a Tier 2 and modest melee damage. It reaches full growth in 20 minutes and 50 seconds.

StatValue
Health3,500
Damage80
Stamina45 (3 regen, 3 glide regen, 15 takeoff multiplier)
Growth Time20 minutes 50 seconds
Weight1,000 lbs
Speed26 walk, 108 sprint, 45 flight

Passive abilities

Smoglett’s passives lean heavily into status resistance and defensive tools. Its Bleed and Injury blocks are especially strong, and its melee applies Poison both when it attacks and when it is struck.

PassiveEffect
Block Bleed75% resistant to Bleed
Block Burn45% resistant to Burn
Block Injury75% resistant to Injury
Block Necropoison50% resistant to Necropoison
Block Poison50% resistant to Poison
ClimberWalks on walls and ceilings
Defensive Toxin / Melee ToxinMelee attacks inflict Poison, and hitting Smoglett in melee inflicts it back
GlideCan glide but not fly
Glittering TailBelow an HP threshold, creates a cloud that inflicts Confusion, Tunnel Vision, and Blurred Vision
GourmandizerOverfills the food gauge by up to 150%
HunkerCuts speed 25% and damage 50%, and reduces damage taken while strafing
Self-DestructCan self-destruct under certain conditions
Will to LiveSprints without stamina; at zero stamina it burns 3% HP every three seconds while sprinting

Active abilities

Three active abilities cover escape and area denial. Poison Area is the main pressure tool, while Burrower and Vanish let Smoglett disengage when a fight turns against it.

ActiveEffect
BurrowerBurrows into the ground to create a hiding spot
Poison AreaApplies five stacks of Poison to all creatures within 100 studs, reusable every 90 seconds
VanishDisappears, leaving a smoke trail

Played to its strengths, Smoglett stacks Poison in a wide radius, layers on the Glittering Tail confusion effects when hurt, and slips away with Vanish or Burrower rather than trading blows. The heavy Bleed and Injury resistance means many aggressive Tier 2 attackers struggle to finish it, making the event grind worthwhile if you favor evasive, toxin-focused play.
