Creatures of Sonaria pushed out its weekly update on September 25th, opening Week 2 of the 2026 Lore Event. The biggest addition is Rini, a Rune Keeper creature unlocked through the event, joined by a redesigned Astrothi and a new Tufted Malupiscis subspecies. Two Lore Event cosmetics, more work on the creature select menu, and a batch of bug fixes round out what the studio laid out in its update post on Discord.
Lore Event Week 2 and Harmony missions
In Week 2 of the Lore Event, collect Harmony as you play. When you have enough, spend it to progress through the event missions. Finishing them brings you closer to unlocking this week’s creature. The story follows a stranger enlisting Sonaria’s creatures to repair the Sun Door and keep Sotharkuz’s corruption from seeping into Sonaria.
Week 2 runs until Friday, October 2nd, when it wraps at 11:00 AM UTC. These event items and cosmetics are temporary and disappear once the Lore Event ends, and returning creatures and cosmetics from past years are available this year too.

Rini
Rini is the Rune Keeper, a creature that stands guard over the Sun Door and stays alert as the story unfolds. It is available through the Lore Event, so unlocking it is tied to your Harmony progress this week.
Astrothi redesign
The Astrothi redesign flutters through Flower Cove with a lighter, more animated step. It comes in as a Secret Mission reward rather than a direct Harmony unlock.
Tufted Malupiscis subspecies
The Tufted Malupiscis subspecies arrives with a ruffled, feathered plume and a heavier, lumbering movement style. It is the third creature added in this update.
Cosmetics, creature menu changes, and fixes
Two new Lore Event themed cosmetics arrive alongside the creatures, and like the rest of the event content they are only around while the event runs. The studio also kept refining the new creature select GUI, the screen you use to browse and pick a creature, and shipped miscellaneous quality-of-life tweaks and bug fixes.
Weekly updates bring short, unavoidable downtime while servers update, and some servers updated later than others this time due to Roblox platform issues.
