Daybreak Bow Recipes in Where Winds Meet: Longshot, Divine, Precision, Rapidfire

The Daybreak Bow is the Tier 91 ranged weapon family added with the Qinchuan map update in Where Winds Meet, and its four blueprints all drop from the same source. To finish the bow you want, you need to unlock the Serpent's Fang Sword Trial, clear it until the recipe you need drops, then take it to the weapon crafting menu with the matching Tier 91 materials.

Quick answer: Reach Level 91, queue the Serpent's Fang Sword Trial, defeat Wolf Maiden and Snake Doctor, and pull the Daybreak Bow recipe (Longshot, Divine, Precision, or Rapidfire) from the trial's chance reward pool. Each variant uses the same drop list, so re-run the trial weekly until the specific blueprint appears.

Requirements before you can unlock the recipes

The Daybreak tier sits at the new Version 1.6 endgame ceiling. You cannot see the recipes drop unless your account meets the gating Inner Way and trial level checks.

  • Inner Way realm at Lv. 14 (Clarity) or higher, which raises the level cap to 95.
  • Character Level 91 minimum to queue the Tier 91 Sword Trial.
  • Version 1.6 Qinchuan content installed, and the Serpent's Fang Sword Trial node unlocked from the Trials menu.
  • A Bow equipped or unlocked as a usable weapon class in your loadout, so the crafted result is usable on your character.

Without the Lv. 14 Inner Way breakthrough, the Daybreak gear line stays locked even if you can enter the trial, because the crafted bow itself is a level 91 piece that scales into the new cap.

Where the Daybreak Bow recipes drop

All four bow blueprints come from the Serpent's Fang Sword Trial, the Level 91 two-phase encounter against Wolf Maiden (Phase 1) and Snake Doctor (Phase 2). They are listed under the trial's chance rewards alongside Tier 91 Path Chests, Vanguard Gear Echoes, and the Inner Way Note: Custom Chest.

Because every variant is a chance drop from the same trial, repeat clears are the only reliable way to collect all four. The first weekly clear also guarantees an Inner Way Note: Custom Chest x3, so the run is worth doing for progression even when no recipe drops.

Clear Serpent's Fang to roll the recipes

Step 1: Open the Trials menu and select Serpent's Fang under Sword Trials. Confirm the difficulty is set to the Tier 91 version, then queue solo or with a party. Matchmaking pairs you up to a full team if you do not pre-form one.

Step 2: Beat Wolf Maiden in Phase 1. Step into the Blood Mist when she casts Chasing Moon Release so the wolf transformation gives you the speed to dodge her projectile waves, and grab Blood Orbs only when the team needs healing. Burn down any small wolves she summons immediately so the vulnerability debuff does not stack on your team.

Step 3: Survive Severing Howl. When a teammate is marked with a gold circle, move into the red follow-up zone and deflect the attack to save them. Missing this deflect is the most common wipe trigger in Phase 1.

Step 4: Defeat Snake Doctor in Phase 2. Spread out for the triple gold-circle markers, dodge the Serpent Claw rectangles, and split into pairs for the two large fire snakes so the poison damage alternates between players. Kill both fire snakes within a few seconds of each other.

Step 5: Use Flute of the Tides to clump the four small venomous snakes into a melee group, then stack their leftover poison pools so the large ice snake that follows can be lured in and weakened before it dies.

Step 6: Open the trial's reward chest at the end of the run. The recipe slot rolls independently, so check your inventory under Recipes after each clear. Repeat until you see the Daybreak Bow blueprint you want.

Tip: The Soaring Spin Mystic Skill, used at roughly 95% of Wolf Maiden's Chasing Moon Release cast bar, lets you skip the wolf transformation entirely. Save it for clears where you have already grabbed enough Blood Orbs.

Craft the Daybreak Bow after the recipe drops

Step 1: Open your bag, find the recipe item (for example, Recipe: Daybreak Bow - Longshot), and use it. The blueprint is added permanently to your crafting list, and the consumable is removed from the bag.

Step 2: Travel to a Blacksmith NPC or use the Crafting menu in any major hub, then switch to the Weapons tab and select the Daybreak Bow variant you just unlocked. The interface shows the required materials and your current stock.

Step 3: Submit the materials to forge the bow. The four variants share the Daybreak base, so material costs scale with the Tier 91 weapon recipe pattern, drawing on resources from Tier 91 Path Chests and the Vanguard echo line awarded by the same trial.

Step 4: Confirm the craft. The new Daybreak Bow appears in your weapon inventory at base Tier 91, ready to be enhanced, refined, and slotted with Vanguard echoes. You will see a "Crafting Successful" prompt and the weapon highlighted as new in the bag.

Differences between the four variants

The four blueprints share the Daybreak Bow chassis but are split into two affix lines. Longshot is its own variant. Divine is the second base variant, and Divine also has two specialized rolls, Precision and Rapidfire, which lock in different secondary stat templates on the same Divine frame.

VariantBase lineFocus
LongshotLongshotRange and single-shot damage
DivineDivineBalanced Divine baseline
Divine (Precision)DivinePrecision-rate weighted roll
Divine (Rapidfire)DivineAttack-speed weighted roll

Because the Divine variant has three blueprint forms, expect to see Divine recipes appear more often than Longshot across multiple clears. If you only need one bow for your build, prioritize the variant that matches your archery stat distribution rather than crafting all four.

Why the recipe is not appearing

Recipe drops in Serpent's Fang are flagged as Chance, so empty clears are normal. The most common reasons the blueprint never appears in the bag come down to a handful of fixable issues.

  • The trial was queued at a lower-tier difficulty that does not include the Daybreak loot table.
  • The weekly first-clear bonus was already taken, but the Tier 91 Path Chest and chance pool still roll on every subsequent run, so keep going.
  • The recipe consumable was opened, but the resulting blueprint was missed in the recipe list. Filter the crafting menu by Bow to confirm.
  • The character has not yet hit Inner Way Lv. 14, so the crafted bow cannot be equipped even if the recipe is owned.

If the recipe shows as already learned but the craft option is greyed out, you are usually short on a Tier 91 weapon material. Run the Tier 91 Path Chest rewards from the same trial to top up.

Treat Serpent's Fang as your weekly loop until every Daybreak Bow blueprint you want is sitting in the crafting list. Pair it with the Lv. 14 Clarity breakthrough so the bow you forge actually scales into the new 95 cap, and aim your runs at the Divine variant first if you are deciding which roll to chase before the Longshot version.
