Singularity is the top rarity band added to Dig & Clean in Update 4, and the odds attached to it are far beyond anything the game had before. There is no quest, no guaranteed drop, and no shortcut. What you can control is how many dig attempts you generate per minute and how much Luck is active while you generate them.
Quick answer: Unlock Paradise Point, upgrade your shovel, detector and spray evenly, empty your inventory, then pop your strongest Luck boost and run a fixed digging circuit without leaving the island. Prioritize sessions that overlap with an active Meteor Shower.
Singularity odds in Dig & Clean
Update 4 added five Singularity entries to the index. The base chances run from 1 in 12 trillion at the shallow end to 1 in 500 trillion at the top, which is several orders of magnitude rarer than the Anomaly tier that previously sat at the bottom of the collection list.
| Singularity entry | Base chance |
|---|---|
| 1st | 1 in 12,000,000,000,000 |
| 2nd | 1 in 25,000,000,000,000 |
| 3rd | 1 in 55,000,000,000,000 |
| 4th | 1 in 120,000,000,000,000 |
| 5th | 1 in 500,000,000,000,000 |
One caveat before you start grinding: not every Singularity entry can be dug out of the ground. At least one is tagged Forge Only in the index, with the note that it cannot be dug up and is instead forged by the Forgemaster inside the Volcano. Check the index card before you sink hours into chasing a specific item.

Set up Paradise Point before you spend a single boost
Paradise Point is the island Update 4 introduced, and it is where Singularity farming happens. It also brought 15 new gear tiers, the Volcano, Meteor Showers, meteorite mutations, a third plot floor and 8 extra pedestals. Everything below assumes you have the island unlocked and are digging on it.

update4. It pays out +5 levels, which is free progression toward better gear and worth grabbing before any timed boost starts ticking.
You will see a Redeemed +5 LEVELS confirmation and level-up banners fire immediately. That is your confirmation the code went through — each code works once per account.

The digging loop that maximizes rolls per minute
At these odds, your only real lever is attempt volume. Every second spent walking back to a boat, sorting a backpack or wandering between random signals is a roll you did not take.

Tip: Collection progress feeds back into Luck. The index shows milestones such as Find 35/40 Items for +30% Luck, so filling out lower tiers is not wasted time — it raises the multiplier you carry into every future dig.
Meteor Showers and meteorite mutations
Meteor Showers are the event window worth building your session around. While one is active, digs can produce meteorite mutations on the items you pull up.
Be clear on what a mutation does, though. It raises an item’s value — it does not change the item’s base rarity and it does not pull a Singularity roll toward you. A mutated Legendary is still a Legendary, just worth more. You farm showers because the same number of digs pays out better, not because your Singularity odds shift.
Why the method stops working
Five things quietly kill throughput, and all of them are avoidable.
| Mistake | What it costs you |
|---|---|
| Running pre-Update 4 gear | Slower digs and weaker Luck, so fewer rolls per minute |
| Popping boosts too early | Timer burns while you shop, travel or sort inventory |
| Digging with a full backpack | Forced interruptions, and risk of losing a good find |
| Wandering between random signals | Travel time replaces dig time |
| Expecting a fast result | Leads to abandoning the loop before volume builds up |
Confirmation that a Singularity item has actually landed is simple: the entry stops showing as unobtained in your Collection index and the cleaned item card prints the Singularity tier with its 1 in X figure. Until that happens, the only thing that changes your position is another dig — so keep the circuit tight, keep the backpack light, and treat every Meteor Shower as the window to be online.
