About Thought, Fog, and Light is the second chapter of the Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and it picks up right after the Beekeeping tutorial ends. The goal is to push deeper into Drowsybloom Acre by cutting through the fog, which means brewing a potion for a broken lantern and then rebuilding Winnie the Pooh’s Thoughtful Spot.

Quick answer: Craft the Honeyglow Elixir, apply it to your watering can, and water the hive-shaped lantern to clear the fog. Then gather five materials, place them into the tree at the Thoughtful Spot, and talk to Pooh to finish the chapter.

Start the quest and find the lantern

The chapter begins automatically once you finish Chapter 1 by making a Honeycrunch Bar for Pooh. Talking to him kicks off a short walk around Drowsybloom Acre.

Speak to Winnie the Pooh about the fog covering the biome. He wants to head out for another walk, so follow him until he stops.

Pooh points out a nearby hive-shaped object, which he explains is a lantern. Interact with the Memory Shard that appears to learn that a potion is needed to light it.

Gather ingredients for the Honeyglow Elixir

The Honeyglow Elixir needs five materials. Most are found inside Drowsybloom Acre, and one requires a quick detour to repair the Seed Stall first.

The Seed Stall is broken when you first reach it. Pick up the Shopping List on the floor next to the stall and place it inside to reopen the shop, then you can buy Parsnip seeds. Tree Resin behaves like dirt, sand, or clay from the base game, so a few dig spots may be needed before it appears.

Light the lantern and clear the fog

Take all five ingredients to the cooking station in Drowsybloom Acre and make the Honeyglow Elixir.

Use the elixir from your inventory to upgrade your watering can, then water the hive-shaped lantern beside Pooh. The fog lifts, opening the lower part of the biome. Talk to Pooh afterward to move on.

Restore Pooh’s Thoughtful Spot

With the fog gone, Pooh leads you into a new section that holds his Thoughtful Spot. Repairing it requires a fresh set of five materials gathered around Honeyglow Woods.
