Norgan has one village, and the sign that appears when you cross into it reads “Norgandian Settlement”. Every service you need in the frozen north lives here: a bed, a vocation change, a smith, and the appraiser who turns unidentified spoils into weapons and armor. Nobody in the village is a long walk apart, but a few of them are easy to miss because the game hides familiar functions in unfamiliar menus.
Quick answer: Rest and change vocation at Dwayne’s inn (Rest costs 500 G), forge at Hal’s open-air forge north of the portcrystal, and appraise spoils with Jiera by the bronze bowl north-east of the portcrystal. There is no separate vocation guild building.
How to talk to people
To start a proper conversation with any settlement resident, keep the key held; the prompt reads “F Hail (Hold to Talk)”.

The stone bridge meets a torch-lined palisade at the village’s southern entrance. About thirty metres beyond the gate stands the Norgan Portcrystal, a tall purple crystal. Use it as the village’s fast-travel point, take your bearings from it, and warp there whenever you return.

The large bonfire is only a few steps beyond the portcrystal, near the village center. Jiera and Ilsa are a short distance north-east of the crystal. Hal works at a forge roughly twenty metres north of it, and the route to Valgr Ravine leaves from the far northern end of the village, beyond the houses.

Visit the shops and quest givers by day. At night Dorin patrols the village and will not hand out the Village Defense side quest.

| Jiera | By the bronze bowl, north-east of the portcrystal | Appraise, Trade Spoils for Rift Crystals |

| Ilda | A stall in the village (moves later) | Shop |
The inn: rest, change vocation and trade ducats (Dwayne)
Dwayne runs the Norgandian Inn. Carved posts frame its entrance, and a round shield hangs above the door. The dim interior has herbs dangling from the beams, with a tame hound resting beside him. Hold the key while targeting Dwayne to open his menu: “Rest” 500 G, “Vocation Guild”, “Trade Norgan Ducats”, “Talk” and “Cancel”.

To sleep, choose “Rest”, then pick “Rest till Morning” or “Rest till Nightfall”.
The rest fee does not stay at 500 G forever. Once you complete the main quest Rumbles in the North, Dorin tells you he has arranged for your stays to be free of charge, and later in the story the inn line shows Rest 0 G instead.

Where to change vocation in Norgan
To switch classes, hold the key on Dwayne and select the “Vocation Guild” entry in his inn menu. If you came looking for a guild hall like the ones in the southern cities, this menu line is it.
Unlike inns in Vermund, Dwayne’s menu does not include an “Organize Storage” option. Pressing Esc while the inn choices are open shifts the cursor to “Cancel”; it does not dismiss the menu.
Trading Norgan Ducats
Select “Trade Norgan Ducats” to reach the “Norgan Ducat” screen. Its top section shows your “Current Held” amount, and the two available tabs are “Rare Trade” and “Standard Trade”. Use this screen to spend the region’s currency.
The smith: Hal’s forge and Workshop
Hal works outdoors at his forge, roughly twenty metres north of the portcrystal, moving between the anvil, grindstone and water barrels. Approach him to bring up the usual hail prompt.

Selecting “Manufacture” opens a screen titled “Workshop” showing a “Manufacturable Gear” list. Among the things Hal sells is the Arctic Camping Kit for 3000 G.
The appraiser: Jiera and your spoils
A short walk north-east of the portcrystal, Jiera sits at the carved lodge beside a bronze bowl, beneath a blue-and-yellow hanging. The map labels the spot “Jiera’s Appraisals”. She tells you that relics are of no use until appraised, so you’ll need to come back here.

Her choices are “Appraise”, “Trade Spoils for Rift Crystals”, “Talk” and “Cancel”. Use “Appraise” to appraise spoils; relics cannot serve you till they are appraised. She has no goods for sale.

Ilsa, Freki and the hounds

Ilsa stands at an iron fire basket with the direwolf Freki lying beside her. She gives the three hound quests: In for a Hare, in for a Hound; A Direwolf Delicacy; and A Hound and His Bone.
Once In for a Hare, in for a Hound is complete, the prompt on Freki changes to “F Take Freki on a walk (Hold)”. Three tame direwolves live in the village, Freki and her pups Geri and Skoll, so do not attack them.

Dorin and Ilda
Dorin stands at the bonfire. He is the village’s guardian and the father of Dwayne, Ilda and Ilsa. He has no shop, but he delivers main-quest conversations and the side quest Village Defense, and he answers each topic in turn. Hold the key more than once to hear everything he has to say.

Ilda operates a stall in the village and roams around the settlement. Completing Flight in the Night, the side quest where you help her leave, takes her away from the village. She then sells at Northwall Campground, so don’t keep looking around the village for her stall.
First-visit route in order
Once you know the portcrystal, the bonfire and the forge, the rest of the village reads itself. Warp in, appraise your spoils, craft at the forge, rest or change vocation at the inn, then head back out into the snow.
