An Obelisk of Benediction takes a flame won in the trials of the Lost Rites and, in return for discipline, grants boons such as stronger weapon skills and higher stats. The Lost Rites trials are scattered through Vermund and Battahl. The quest that opens them starts when you speak to Captain Brant at the Stardrop Inn at night and ask him about the ruins that have been unearthed. Norgan has 9 Obelisks of Benediction on the map.
