Dress to Impress Treasure Hunt Quest: All Gem and Chest Locations

Collect five gems to open the beach cave, unlock the Trident, and dig up all seven buried chests.

Collect five gems to open the beach cave, unlock the Trident, and dig up all seven buried chests.

The summer Treasure Hunt in Dress to Impress runs entirely in Freeplay. You need to find five colored gems to open a locked cave on the beach, solve a seashell puzzle inside to earn the Trident, and dig up seven buried chests scattered around the map for exclusive items and coins.

Quick answer: Complete the five gem quests (Blue, Green, Yellow, Red, Purple), place all five in the star lock to open the cave, set three pink seashells on the pedestals inside for the Trident, then dig the seven marked mounds across the map.

Where to start the Treasure Hunt

Everything happens in Freeplay mode. Use the Teleport button in the bottom-left corner to jump into Freeplay, then head toward the beach. The locked star-shaped door sits on the right side of the beach, near the large cave entrance. It stays sealed until all five gems are collected, so gather the gems first.

You can complete the gems in any order. The steps below are grouped by difficulty, starting with the quickest quests and ending with the longest.

Blue Gem: hammer, coconut, and the ice fountain

Enter the pink and green house and go upstairs. Grab the hammer sitting on the bookshelf.
Take the hammer to the giant coconut near the fruit stand on the street and smash it. This drops a coin.
Carry the coin into the recording studio, walk up to the frozen display, and toss it into the ice fountain. The Blue Gem appears.

Green Gem: dig in the Backrooms

Find the blue door on the cliffside and go through it to enter the Backrooms maze.
Follow the yellow corridors until you reach the dirt room at the end of the maze.
Dig the piles of dirt in that room to uncover the chest holding the Green Gem.

Yellow Gem: light all five lanterns

This is the longest gem quest. Five lanterns are placed around the town, and you light each one by clicking on it. Lighting the fifth lantern spawns the Yellow Gem on the path.

Red Gem: the flying bird mini-game

Swim out to the small island on the beach and interact with the bird to start the mini-game.
Fly the seagull through 18 purple rings. Clearing all rings reveals the Red Gem on the beach.

Purple Gem: the beach ball and volleyball match

Grab the soccer ball from the shelf inside the dressing room and change its texture to “Beach Ball”.

Open the cave and unlock the Trident

With all five gems in hand, return to the star lock on the beach and place them to open the cave door. You will see the “3/5 Gems Found” style counters climb as you collect, and the door opens once you reach five.

Inside the cave, three stone pedestals wait for three pink seashells. Collect each shell and set it on a pedestal.

Once the third shell is placed, an “Unlocked: TRIDENT” message confirms the accessory is yours.

All seven treasure chest locations

Speak with the pirate NPC Scarlet Fierce on the beach to begin the chest hunt. Then dig up the seven buried mounds around the map. Each dig updates the counter from “1/7 Chests found” up to “7/7 Chests found,” and each chest gives either currency or an exclusive item.

Tip: Freeplay servers restart on a timer, and a “Freeplay servers will restart in 5 minutes!” warning appears before each reset. Plan your route so you are not mid-dig when the server cycles.

Once the counter reads 7/7 and the gem lock shows 5/5, you have cleared the full Treasure Hunt. The Trident sits in your accessories, and the chest rewards, including the Gold Dress and Flower Basket, are added to your inventory for use on the runway.
