Drill for Eggs: How Rebirth Works and When to Use It

Hit the Power threshold, reset to zero, and lock in a permanent Cash multiplier that scales through the endgame.

Rebirth is the main progression loop in Drill for Eggs. It takes your built-up Power, wipes it back to zero, and hands you a permanent boost to how fast your pets earn Cash. Because the boost is multiplicative, a single Rebirth keeps paying off long after you perform it, which is why the mechanic sits at the center of long-term growth in the game.

Quick answer: Train Power until you reach the listed threshold, open the Rebirth menu, and press Rebirth. Your Power resets to zero and you gain a permanent Cash multiplier.

How to perform a Rebirth in Drill for Eggs

The whole process runs through the Rebirth menu and only takes a moment once your Power is high enough.

Raise your Power stat through training. You can train manually or switch on the auto-training system to build Power without constant input.
Check the Rebirth button for a red exclamation mark. It appears once you reach the required Power threshold, showing that you can Rebirth.

You know it worked when your Power resets to zero and the new Cash multiplier takes effect, raising the amount your pets produce.

What a Rebirth gives you

Rebirth permanently increases the rate at which your pets earn Cash, scaling their output directly. The first Rebirth applies a 1.5x Cash multiplier, so a pet earning 20 Cash per second will produce 30 Cash per second.

Because the bonus is multiplicative rather than flat, it stays relevant no matter how far you progress. In the endgame, where pets can generate millions of Cash per second, each multiplier has an increasingly large effect. The trade is simple: you give up your current Power to lock in a boost that never expires.

Avoid overtraining past the threshold

You can keep pushing Power well beyond the threshold without ever pressing Rebirth, but that extra Power is lost the instant you do. No matter how high it climbs, it still resets to zero. Training past the requirement is wasted effort.

Rebirth as soon as the red exclamation point appears on the button. Doing so turns your Power into a multiplier at the earliest moment and keeps your Cash growth climbing instead of stalling on overtraining.

Used this way, Rebirth steadily lifts your earning ceiling as you unlock new zones, and it remains worth performing every time despite the Power reset.
