Dungeon Lootr Class Tier List: Every Class Ranked for Update 1.5

Where every Dungeon Lootr class lands after the Update 1 balance pass, plus how to unlock the strongest picks.

Update 1.5 did two things at once to Dungeon Lootr. It dropped three new classes into the roster, and it quietly took a chunk out of the class that had been sitting alone at the top for weeks. That combination is enough to shuffle the upper half of the rankings, so here is where every class stands right now for dungeon clearing, Boss Rush, and Challenge Dungeon runs.

Quick answer: Dark Professor, Spell Breaker, and the new Dragoon are the strongest classes after Update 1.5. Sinister Trigger is still top-tier despite its nerfs, and Dragoon is the best of the three new arrivals.

Dungeon Lootr class tier list (Update 1.5)

Classes are listed alphabetically inside each tier, not ranked within it. Rarity does not decide placement here, because a few Rare and Epic kits outperform Celestial ones, and several of the strongest classes are craft or quest unlocks rather than spin prizes.

Update 1.5 balance changes that moved the rankings

Sinister Trigger took the heaviest pass. Its Mastery passive dropped from 190% to 120% damage and now only procs on skill hits, the damage multiplier went from 1.5x to 1.45x, and the M1 chain was cut from five hit animations to four. Hitboxes across the kit were resized to match their visuals, including a third skill that had been firing at roughly three times its intended size. Showstopper and Rainstorm were also corrected, since both had been dealing less damage than intended.

The net result is a class that feels noticeably different in the hands but still hits hard. If you skill-spam and actually combo instead of relying on basic attacks, Sinister Trigger holds its S-tier slot. It just no longer sits unchallenged above everything else.

The second change is easier to miss. Update 1.5 adjusted how dexterity evasion and multi-hit damage work, which indirectly shaves value off fast, many-hit kits. That is the main reason Hellfiend lands in the upper half of A tier rather than pushing into S.

Dragoon, Embertide, and Hellfiend: The new Update 1.5 classes

Only one of the three new classes lands in S tier, and it is the one built around stacking its own buffs rather than raw numbers.

ClassWhy it lands there
Dragoon
S tier
Grants temporary boosts to damage, attack speed, and skill speed, sustains itself through skill damage, and puts out heavy multi-charge damage with Dragon Fall.
Embertide
A tier
Strong offensive stats with intelligence scaling, plus homing projectiles from Tidal Detonation. Low HP and stationary cast animations keep it out of the top tier.
Hellfiend
A tier
High starting stats, excellent mobility, and burst damage through Twin Jackal Requiem. Slightly weakened by the 1.5 dexterity evasion and multi-hit changes.

Embertide and Hellfiend are both worth building. Neither is a trap pick, and both sit comfortably above most of the spin roster. Dragoon is simply the one that rewards a full rotation the most.

Why the S tier classes hold the top spots

Dark Professor is the ceiling on a maxed gear setup, running a skill-based intelligence build with the Tempest and Umbral aspects. Spell Breaker is the strength-scaling equivalent, backed by 500 HP and +20 VIT. Thousand Cuts triples its damage after a clean parry, and Tempest Splitter can leave enemies taking 15% extra damage while carrying a 35% chance to reset Piercing Rush.

Dreadlord is the safest of the bunch, with 500 HP, +20 STR, and +20 VIT, a fully invulnerable Crimson Rush, and a Dread Vortex that stacks parry frames with knockback immunity. Coyote pairs homing Wolf Pack projectiles and 10-stud explosions with dodge protection on its big hits. Shadow Vagrant trades HP for a filthy damage ceiling and Flickering Step, which gives three charges of wide-AoE repositioning with dodge frames.

Founder rounds it out with 30 to 40 stud coverage on its best attacks and a 35% chance for Somersault Crash to instantly reset Pillar of Heaven. Cryomancer is the most conditional S-tier entry, since it needs maxed gear to compete, and Unrestricted earns its place through form switching that rewrites three of its skills between Sword and Spear.

Across the board, every one of these kits gains +20% damage on all skills, +4 to a core stat, and a 5% cooldown reduction from Mastery, which is why their gaps over the A tier widen rather than close as you level.

Best early-game classes while you farm spins

Do not sit on Normal Spins waiting for an Exotic. Boxer has some of the strongest basic attacks available early and stays viable well into the mid-game, especially with the Alacrity aspect. Witch Gunner covers the ranged side with enough damage to zone harder stages, and Divergent is the pick if you are stuck on Mythic rolls.

Kage is worth keeping around for Challenge Dungeon farming, and Demonbane is a straightforward Battle Pass unlock that carries the mid-game fine. If survivability is the problem rather than damage, the Sanguine aspect’s lifesteal buys you room, though damage aspects win once you learn to kite.

How to unlock the top-ranked classes

Most classes come from the CLASSES menu in the lobby. Normal Spins weight heavily toward Rare and Epic kits, while Lucky Spins raise the odds on Legendary, Mythic, Celestial, and Exotic pulls. Sinister Trigger is the rarest spin prize in the game, so treat it as a bonus rather than a plan.

Several of the best kits skip the gacha entirely. Honored One, Cursed King, and Anti Magic drop in Boss Rush from floor 40 onward, or you can craft their class items at the Forge using fragments from the matching bosses. Dreadlord comes from the Underworld Gate Nightmare, Spell Breaker and Cryomancer come from raid drops and the raid shop, and Dark Professor is tied to the First Test Raid on Impossible. Unrestricted and Jetstream are NPC quest unlocks found near the main hub.

Coyote, Founder, and Shadow Vagrant sit behind paid bundles in the in-game shop, alongside packs like El Hueco, Coyote, and Twin Jackals. They are genuinely strong, but none of them are required, and the same power is reachable through Boss Rush and raid farming. You can check the current lineup on the Dungeon Lootr experience page before spending anything.

How this ranking was put together

Placements weigh damage and clear speed, survivability, mobility and uptime, crowd control and utility, and how well a kit scales through Mastery. Consistency matters more than a single big number, so classes that post huge damage only while rooted in place and exposed rank below classes that keep moving.

This ranking reflects the live build as of Update 1.5 in September 2026. Balance passes in this game have been frequent and pointed, as Sinister Trigger just demonstrated, so treat the top tier as the current shape of the meta rather than a permanent order. Additional classes exist in the files but have not been released, and they are not ranked here.
