Dungeon Lootr: How to Get the Dark Professor Exotic Class

Dark Professor is an Exotic-tier mage kit in Dungeon Lootr, and it is not something you can spin for. There is no roll, no fragment count, and no Forge recipe behind it. The class is gated behind a single item drop from one raid at one difficulty, and the rate is low enough that most players will need several clears before it appears.

Quick answer: Run the Magic Unleashed raid on Impossible difficulty until the Dark Magic Wand drops. It has a 0.5% drop chance, and picking it up unlocks the Dark Professor class.

Dark Magic Wand drop rate and raid requirements

The Dark Magic Wand only appears in Magic Unleashed, and only on the Impossible difficulty tier. Lower difficulties of the same raid do not put it in the loot pool, so there is no point farming an easier version for a faster clear time.

Impossible is not a solo-friendly tier. Bring a full team. A geared player can push clear times down to roughly two and a half to three minutes per run, which is the number that actually matters here, because at 0.5% you are paying for attempts with time rather than skill.

How to farm the Dark Professor class

Gear up a kit that can survive Impossible. A high-damage Exotic or Celestial class with upgraded armor is the practical floor. A ranged, Dexterity-focused build paired with the Ruin aspect works well for the farming phase, since Ruin builds a sunder mark on a single target and feeds bonus damage into skills as well as basic attacks.

Queue Magic Unleashed and select Impossible. Confirm the difficulty tab before you enter. Entering on a lower tier wastes the run entirely for this purpose.

Clear the raid to the final phase and kill the boss. The wand can only roll on a completed clear, so a wipe or an early exit is a zero.

Check your inventory after each clear. If the Dark Magic Wand is not there, requeue immediately. There is no pity system attached to this drop, so every run is an independent 0.5% roll. Seven clears is a realistic figure for a lucky streak, not a guarantee.

Once the wand is in your inventory, equip it from town to unlock and switch to Dark Professor. Your skill bar swaps over to the new kit, which is the confirmation that it worked.

Dark Professor skills and damage multipliers

The kit is built around one cheap spammable projectile and three escalating area attacks. The multipliers climb sharply toward the fourth slot, which is where most of your burst comes from.

Stat allocation and the best aspect for Dark Professor

Dark Professor scales off Intelligence. If you farmed the wand on a Dexterity build, reset and push points into Intelligence before you evaluate the class, otherwise the numbers on the skill bar will look far worse than they are.

Tempest is the aspect that fits the kit best. It stacks storm charges every time you use a skill, adding 5% skill damage per use up to a 40% cap, then discharges a lightning storm for 200% damage and resets the stacks. Because Dark Professor cycles four skills constantly, you reach the cap and trigger the storm far more often than a basic-attack class would.

Note: Aspects bind to the equipped class. Roll an Aspect Gem only while Dark Professor is the active kit, or the effect will land on whatever class is actually equipped underneath.

Why the class does not unlock

You ran Magic Unleashed on a difficulty below Impossible. The wand is not in those loot tables.
The run ended without a full clear. Incomplete raids do not roll the drop.
The wand is in your inventory but never equipped. The class stays locked until you equip it from town.
You are still on your old stat spread. The kit is live, but Intelligence is where its damage comes from.

Treat this as a long-tail farm rather than a checklist item. Unlike Awakened Devil EX or Unrestricted, where every step after the first is a fixed kill count or coin total, Dark Professor has no deterministic path at all. The only lever you control is how many Impossible clears you can stack in an evening, so a fast, reliable team composition is worth more here than any single upgrade to your own gear.
