Clear the Corrupted Statue trial east of Outskirts of Mammon to unlock this Sidearm Tarstone that inflicts Fragile.

The Enfeebling Stone is a Combat Tarstone in Mortal Shell 2 that makes your Sidearm projectiles inflict Fragile on enemies, raising the damage those targets take from your weapon attacks. It works with every Sidearm in the game and is unlocked by finishing a single combat trial in the world.

Quick answer: Fast travel to the Outskirts of Mammon Beacon, head east along the cliffside path to the Corrupted Statue shrine, hold the interact prompt to begin the trial, defeat both waves of enemies, then touch the shrine to receive the Enfeebling Stone.

Where the Enfeebling Stone trial is located

The reward comes from the Trial of the Corrupted Statue, which sits directly east of the Outskirts of Mammon Beacon in the Ruins of Mammon region. The stone skull shrine is a short run from the beacon, so no long detour is needed. There is also a Laterite weapon upgrade material to grab on the way if you want it.

How to reach and complete the Corrupted Statue trial

Open your map and fast travel to the Outskirts of Mammon Beacon. This puts you at the closest safe point to the shrine.
Leave the camp and follow the cliffside path east. You can loot a small bag of coins on a crate along the way, and watch for a trap on the ground as you move toward the cliff edge.

Optional pickup. Look for a glowing white energy rift near the cliff edge and strike it to collect a Laterite weapon upgrade material. Skip this if you only want the Tarstone.

Approach the stone skull shrine and hold the interact button to select Begin Trial. The screen shifts to monochrome, signalling that the fight has started.
Clear both waves. The first wave sends in armored soldiers, and the second brings larger armored brutes across the rocky slope. Color returns to the environment once the final enemy falls.

Interact with the completed shrine to claim your reward. The prompt “NEW TARSTONE ACQUIRED! ENFEEBLING STONE” confirms the Tarstone is now yours.

You know it worked when the acquisition banner appears and the Enfeebling Stone shows up in the Tarstones menu. If the trial fails to start, make sure you have cleared no active fight nearby and that you are holding the interact button rather than tapping it.

Enfeebling Stone effects and levels

The Enfeebling Stone applies Fragile through your Sidearm projectiles. Fragile increases the damage an affected enemy takes from weapon attacks, so it stacks well with a strong melee follow-up. The number of Fragile stacks applied per hit scales as you upgrade the stone.

LevelEffect
Level 1Projectiles inflict Fragile (5 Fragile stacks per strike)
Level 2Inflict 6 Fragile stacks per strike
Level 3Inflict 7 Fragile stacks per strike

Tip: The Triarch Repeater pairs well with the Enfeebling Stone because its high round count can max out Fragile stacks on a target within seconds, softening it up before you close in.

Sidearm compatibility

The Enfeebling Stone can be equipped to any Sidearm, so it fits every projectile loadout. That includes the Ballistazooka, Caged Hystrix, Cursed Child, Forgotten Crossbow, Naylshotte, Salvaged Trebuchaxe, Triarch Repeater, and the Troubadour’s Lute.

How to upgrade the Enfeebling Stone

Upgrading Tarstones is handled by Franz at the Tarforge in Marrow Keep, but you first need the Etching Needle to unlock the upgrade options. That quest item is looted from a bone chest reached just before the Magdalena, the Lady of the Woods boss fight. When you see Ruk past the bridge, drop down through the opening and turn right before the tunnel to find the small section with the chest.

After you hand Franz the Etching Needle, equip the Enfeebling Stone and defeat enemies to fill its experience bar. Once the XP bar is full, return to Franz to raise it to the next level, which costs Coin per upgrade.

Because the stone works across every Sidearm and stacks Fragile quickly, it stays useful from the early hours right through to the final boss, especially on any build that wants to spike weapon damage on a single target before committing to melee.
