Enshrouded: How to Get Giant Bones from the Hollow Cyclops

Giant Bones are an Uncommon Level 13 crafting material in Enshrouded, pulled from the oversized skeletal remains of a Hollow Cyclops. You will not find them lying around the world or gathered from nodes. They come from a single enemy type, so getting them means tracking that creature down inside a Hollow Halls dungeon and defeating it.

Quick answer: Kill a Hollow Cyclops inside any Hollow Halls dungeon and loot its remains. Each kill drops 4–8 Giant Bones.

Where to find the Hollow Cyclops

The Hollow Cyclops lives in the Hollow Halls dungeons. There is one of these dungeons in each of three regions, and a Cyclops can appear in any of them.

Kindlewastes Hollow Halls

The Nomad Highlands gate is among the easiest entrances to find. It lies south of Dragondream Lake, northwest of Ancient Spire Nomad Highlands. Fast-travel to the spire, then walk northwest to the stone gate.

Open your world map before you set out to confirm the exact spot. The Hollow Halls marker sits west to northwest of the Ancient Spire Nomad Highlands waypoint.

How to reach and defeat the Hollow Cyclops

The dungeon is packed with hostile mobs, so bring a high-level character and solid gear before you go in.

Enter the Hollow Halls through the stone doorway and push deep into the dungeon. Keep going until you reach the cavern flooded with lava.

Find the giant skeletal creature roaming the red lava cavern near the bone-covered mounds. This is the Hollow Cyclops.

Draw the Cyclops onto firm terrain, well clear of the lava flows. Fight from the bone platforms to stay out of the lava, which causes damage on its own.

Defeat the Cyclops with melee or ranged attacks. A two-handed weapon such as the Frost Smasher works well against it. When it dies, it collapses into a glowing green loot pile.

Interact with the remains and take everything. You will collect the Giant Bones along with a Hollow Cyclops Head.

You will know it worked when the loot window lists Giant Bones (Uncommon, Level 13) and the Head shows as Epic. A single Cyclops gives 4–8 bones per kill, and the material stacks up to 250 in one slot.

What Giant Bones are used for

Giant Bones feed several recipes at the Collector crafting station. The two Bone Keys are the most practical reason to farm them, since each key unlocks a region’s Hollow Halls loot.

Because the Cyclops only appears inside the Hollow Halls and drops a variable amount, plan on repeat runs if you need a large stock. Each visit clears the same dungeon, so once you know the route to the lava cavern the farming loop is quick.
